My in laws live in La Crosse and it's extremely stressful for them and for me to find anywhere with vegan options. We went to Hackberry's this morning and it was amazing! My biscuits and gravy was outstanding. The food was all presented beautifully. It's absolutely worth a stop even if you're just passing by.
Also I tried all three of their vegan desserts and they were all delicious!
I would give 5 if I could. I ordered the vegan bourbon cream french toast with rose icing, a side of vegan sausage and hashbrowns. It was fantastic. I'm visiting from Portland, Oregon so trust me, I know great vegan food when I taste it. The waitress was friendly and helpful and food was made and served quickly.
