Vegan lunch spot

The wait was non existant. The service was friendly. The food its vegan and mushrooms are so good.

Pros: Mushroom Casadia so good, The fruit punch from Mexico spot on

Cons: The cheese is oily

Delicious Vegan Tacos!

I ate at Habanero Sombrero for lunch on April 24, 2021 at The Forks Market and thoroughly enjoyed their delicious and authentic Mexican food!

I ordered three of the veggie tacos on corn tortillas (which can be made vegan if you ask) - two mushroom and one black bean. Everything on the menu is gluten free which is amazing and they have vegan options for most items, including a vegan cheese substitute for the quesadillas. They also sell chips and guacamole/salsa and nachos. The tacos I tried were incredibly tasty, flavourful and fresh.

Would definitely recommend checking them out!

Yummy vegan tacos

I've been getting the black bean taco, vegan style (without cheese), since back when Habanero Sombrero only had a food truck. This place serves some of the best tacos in town. At the Forks, it's 2 tacos for $9.00 and 3 tacos for $13.50. (works out to $4.50 per taco) It's not cheap, but it is delicious. The pico de gallo and the slaw are amazing. The beans are great. I've never had a bad experience with their food.
Grab some napkins, because you'll probably make a mess.
