Vegan Tasting Menu

We started our meal at the chef’s table for drinks and some small bites prepared in front of us. Were were then brought to a formal dining table for the remaining courses. All the plates were filled with high quality ingredients and attention to fine detail. After 9 courses we were quite full and felt the whole experience was worth every penny

Main Course #7 - Panko crusted squash and Goan curry at Haar in St Andrews

Small bite #1 - Mushroom tart. Possibly my favorite dish at Haar in St Andrews +4

Fine vegan dining

Loved our meal at Haar, it’s so nice to be able to go somewhere and just get a vegan menu without having to get the waiters to agonise over trying to figure out what you can eat. Especially enjoyed the kimchi wonton and the apple tart Tarim for dessert

Pros: Full vegan tasting menu, Excellent wine selection, Friendly helpful staff

5 stars but app won’t allow it

5 or 6 course fully vegan tasting menu with a twist. The first session of a mouses bouches are prepared in front of you by the executive chef, whilst he explains the ingredients and flavours. All were fabulous as were all the courses ( see menu and photos). Dishes were easily tweaked to account for gluten free.

Pros: Full vegan tasting menu (all menus veg heavy), Interesting first snack element to dinner, Lovely ambience and staff

Cons: It’s fine dining so comes at a cost, Drinks particularly expensive
