With no fully vegan restaurants in Meteora, we decided to try out Gyros House. We were very pleasantly surprised. The falafel pita wrap was cheap (4 euros) and tasted great. The falafel were moist and green and delicious. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Meteora.

Great Vegan Gyros - Edit
Great to have this restaurant in the beautiful little town of Kalabaka. Vegan Gyros was great, we haven't tried all the other vegan options. Prices absolutely fair and very nice service. Also, there are gorgeous little (hungry) cats outside!

Le restaurant dispose d’une carte de plat Vegan et végétarien. J’ai dégusté un délicieux gyros végétarien, avec des crudités et un simili carné (en quantité généreuse dans le gyros). Le tout est bien assaisonné !

This place was a little gem, not come across many places that do vegan meat replacements and these guys have really tasty ones. I had the vegan gyros and vegan souvlaki and they were both yummy. And they also have chocolate vegan ice cream which was delicious but quite expensive compared to everything else! Definitely worth checking out if you're visiting meteora!

This place prominently features vegan items, with a separate vegan menu offering burgers, falafel, gyros, souvlaki, salads etc. and even at least one flavor of vegan ice cream. The service is friendly but not speedy like in a fast food restaurant. The vibe on the whole here is somewhat like that of a diner.
Read moreWe had a burger and a souvlaki salad; both tasted great. We came early, so I believe we’re the first customers of the day. If we came later, I would be a bit concerned about cross contamination, since they serve meat here and seem only to have one grill.

It should be 5 star. Everything was delicious. I ordered a Gyro, souvlaki and falafel and delicious. Quick and very tasty. I was extremely happy to find a gyro and souvlaki options in Greece that weren’t mushrooms and grilled veggie.

We had a simple, tasty and rich diner at this place. Gyros and burger tasted really good and exceptional - especially the burger patty tasted meaty and even a bit "bloody". Prices are fair, staff is friendly. I absolutely can recommend it!
