They have a few vegan options like meatless meatballs, falafel and burgers, as well as a pizza. They could choose a better cheese that melts. The price for the meatless options is about 15 euro. *Cocktails come out warm though* be ware.

I took vegan gyro, it was okay, but lacked more spices. Very big portion and all in all - worth checking out (haven’t seen vegan gyros or souvlaki anywhere else)

Ich hatte Soulvaki bestellt jedoch wurde mir später berichtet, dass heute keins geliefert wurde. Habe einen Mischteller der anderen Alternativen erhalten -wie viele bereits vor mir-. Es war sehr lecker, jedoch komplett ohne Soße etwas trocken, v.a. das Gyros. Der rest war auch so recht saftig.

I wanted to try the souvlaki skewers, but unfortunately they were sold out. Instead, I got a mixed plate with all the vegan options. That was very kind of the owner. The only downside is that without any sauce, it was a bit dry.

Best vegan gyros and souvlaki - Edit
There is a clear and detailed menu with obvious vegan options. Far more choice than most restaurants with "vegan options". The vegan souvlaki was incredible and the vegan gyros wrap is definitely worth a try. The vegan mushroom gyros wrap was not as exciting though so give it a miss if you are not ordering much. Service was nice and they understood questions about veganism and reassured there would be no yoghurt or tzatziki. Make sure that you are in the right place as there are multiple restaurants with big signs saying "Gyros" but only this place is "Gyros Chania"

Vegan gyros, souvlaki and pizza by the harbour - Edit
This place has many vegan options and the staff are knowledgable about veganism. The lovely gentleman, who is the host kindly pointed put all their vegan dishes, ranging from mushroom gyros to various plant-based meat options (based on sunflower). Their pizza can also be ordered with vegan cheese (almond milk based).
Read moreI really wanted to try gyros, and wasn't into the grilled vegetable gyros offered most other places, so it was great to find this place. Tried the meatless souvlaki, which was pretty tasty, although part of me wonders if I should have tried the mushrooms. The server asked to specify if I was vegan when ordering, so my plate would be without yoghurt, and offered to bring us some hummus. Without the hummus, the dish would have been a bit dry, but lathering some hummus on the bread, with tomato, onion and the meat, it was pretty good ☺️

The meatless gyros was very good. My boyfriend had the mushroom gyros which was also good but we both think the meatless gyros is better. The lady gave us hummus instead of yoghurt which was a great addition.
