Also serves vegan cakes, pies and waffles and all drinks are vegan such as hot cocoa, smoothies and juices but be sure to specify vegan. Outdoor seating surrounded by jungle and a small river. Jojo used to work as a private chef on a private Yacht. Therefore the demands on her to continually come up with inventive new flavours and combinations has turned her into a wizard of a chef!
Read moreSome of the most interesting, tasty, healthy food I have ever eaten. I had a sweet potato which was baked with a balsamic, ginger Asian favouring. Rice and salad that was also flavoured with an asian fusion dressing.
My girlfriend had tofu flavoured with curried coconut flakes and that was devine. The salad and noodles were again perfectly flavoured with dressing.
We shared deserts of caramel tahini cheesecake and a waffle with ice cream, lychee raspberry jam, tahini cooked bananas. OMG! I can't say anything to you but "YOU HAVE TO EAT HERE"!!!!
Everything was vegan, everything was perfectly flavoured, everything was delicious, there were so many flavours going on in each dish.
There was also the tastiest hot chocolate ever! It had a blob of homemade tahini chocolate fudge in it.
Jojo makes virtually everything from scratch, it feels like 5 star dining it a typical Thai jungle bamboo shack shala setting.
She was such a friendly and warm person we chatted to her for some time after we had finished eating. We have vowed to return before leaving Pai!
On our promised return we had vegan fajitas, vegan baked aubergine a bit like italian aubergine parmigianna. Hot chocolates all round, and for desert a chocolate hazelnut bar and the waffle again. All was amazing again. Like I said YOU HAVE TO EAT HERE!!!

We couldn't find the restaurant at first because Google is a bit silly. Just go to this road: 19.3417081, 98.4488702 and follow it to the end to turn right, follow the small road until you reach Gypsysoul. It's located in a beautiful garden with Thai style little gazebos where you will be served by Jojo, a friendly and kind former yacht-chef who will serve you outstanding and mind blowing dishes. These dishes are different from the other vegan meals in Pai and will make you feel like a millionaire in a 5-star restaurant. She is exceptionally good in what she does, if you want a special experience we truly recommend this place! Jojo also has a big inflatable pool and there is a Thai lady who offers very cheap massages! You can also enjoy a beautiful sunset on the rooftop. What are you waiting for!
