Really cute, realllllllly disappointed - Edit
Went here once with my non veg family. ( My non veg family loved it.) I however will not return. I didn't think they had a whole lot to choose from. However, if you are just coming for a morning coffee , I think this place is adorable. My grandma and I loved all the art on display. Plus the anti mall is nice to walk around and relax.

When you need that vegan breakfast burrito... - Edit
I come here to work on my computer, have a few drinks and enjoy some of their vegan options. Very laid back, always have a good experience. Definitely satisfies the craving for a vegan breakfast burrito when you’ve had a bit too much fun the night before...

terrible service - Edit
Had been wanting to go to this spot for a while for their vegan options and finally got around to it. I ordered the mushroom tacos vegan and when I took my first and only bite it had real cheese on top. Server never came to ask how our food was not even when she brought the bill and took my plate full of food. What a rip.

In terms of restaurant design, the indoor is gypsy-like and the outdoor patio is airy-like.

Vegan Baked Goods - Edit
FYI, the Santa Ana location just started offering a "Damn Delicious Dark Chocolate Cake." I haven't had it, but it looks like a chocolate bundt cake with a chocolate glaze. Sometimes they have it at the Costa Mesa location, but you're chancing it.

Things have changed - Edit
Thought I'd write a review since one hasn't been written in a while. I used to like this place but they have really changed. They used to have a lot more vegan options but now they have like one vegan item on their menu. Every now and then I stop in to see if they added any new vegan things and whenever I inquire about the vegan items they took off the menu they say they are trying to "figure it out". They have been saying this for like 2 years now. Idk if they will ever going to figure out the vegan options. They don't even offer the vegan cookie dough brownie anymore.

Cons: like 1 vegan option

Extremely welcoming with a delicious breakfast! - Edit
Stopped in for breakfast during a recent trip to the area. There were two waitresses on duty and they were both SO friendly and helpful! Loved chatting with them.
Read moreWe ordered the Tomato Goat Cheese Scramble and the Breakfast burrito with veggie bacon. We also tried a side of veggie sausage and a croissant (husband was starving!). Everything was fresh with great flavor. I LOVED that the side fruit was actually pieces of fresh, seasonal fruit!
Don't forget to try the jam - so tasty!
Pros: Friendly staff, Fresh food, Flavorful

They're barely vegan - Edit
They have one vegan item on their menu, and it's fake meat in a wrap. Awful! I want the old vegan sunday brunch back!

Disappointing - Edit
This place looks great and has all of the potential to be great, but, at least for the breakfast menu, there is only one item on the entire menu that can be made vegan. So, there are no items made specifically vegan and only one item can be modified to be vegan (oatmeal). I can get better than this at Denny's. I would not label this place vegan friendly, at least not for breakfast.
Read moreOk, I asked for the lunch menu and the lunch menu is much better, All of the soups and chilis are vegan, a couple of "small bites" are vegan, and there is a vegan burger and a "chipotle and avocado vegan chicken wrap."
Pros: Ecclectic, Clean, Nice patio
Cons: Limited breakfast options
