Delicious with a laid back atmosphere - Edit
Vegan options were not clearly marked but the ingredients were listed. The almond and coconut milks are homemade daily. The fried yuca was incredible.

We had a vegan Indian bowl and a veg sandwich with hummus and grilled vegetables. The portions were pretty large and tasted very nice. Service and vibe are very cool.

The dishes are delicious and made with love. You can tell the staff are friends with one another and genuinely enjoy working there, which always makes a place glow. Definitely recommend if you're in the area.

Desafortunadamente fui un poco tarde y la mayoría de los platos veganos ya no estaban disponibles. Probé el sandwich de verduras y plátano maduro y una tosta con tomate y aguacate. El sandwich tenía mucho sabor con el contraste dulce del plátano. A juzgar por estos dos platos el resto de platos seguro que están buenos. El mango lassi no estaba muy logrado😒Ambiente desenfadadado con un jardincillo central. Tienen varias mascotas (conejo, gata, un perro y solian tener un loro). El dueño parecía ser un hippy muy relajado, se ponía a cantar y bromear.

I had one of the best vegan bowls for lunch. Rice, black beans, homemade Caribbean sauce and avocado. Delicious and well spiced. Also the tastenblaxk bean soup was vegetarian, not sure vegan.

Lovely garden setting with delicious food and friendly service. They have a few nice vegan options (see pics of menu). If you’re vegan, careful about their sandwiches. They use brioche buns which have egg. Their yuca fries are amazing.

I cannot recommend this place enough!!! I would visit Puerto Viejo just to eat here again. The restaurant/lounge area is adorable and very welcoming. The staff is very kind and helpful when it comes to inquiring about vegan options. And the food was beyond delicious. We ate here multiple times in the few days we stayed near Puerto Viejo. The Indian bowl was truly one of the best things I’ve ever eaten.

Super cozy place serving heavenly acai bowls. If you're looking for the best breakfast in town, don't look any further! Pretty much 4 kms away from the busy center of Puerto Viejo, enjoy the chill vibes of gypsea! Not everything is vegan but very large range of vegan options! 👏
