Great find on edge of central area - Edit
We were looking for a vegan and dog friendly place for lunch. We were struggling with dog friendly and then we came across Gusto Trattoria. They had a dog friendly sticker in the window and their menu looked great. Vegetarian and Plant Based each have their own sections. It is a good sign when you don't know what to choose and quickly decide you will need to come back! We are only in Southport for 2 days! We decided on the plant based lasagne and mushroom linguine. Both were delicious and good sized portions. We had a serving of vegan mozzarella to sprinkle on top and a side of garlic bread. If this was close to home, we would visit a lot. Definitely recommend if you like Italian food.

Love this place, a great selection for vegans, friendly, helpful staff. Generally good vibes and reasonable prices . I had an amazing vegan pizza with a very tasty side salad. The only vegan dessert other than sorbet was vanilla ice-cream, which was nice but could do with more options. However the waitress realised that the amaretto soaked caramel fruit was actually vegan so she added it to my ice-cream, it was gorgeous 🥰 Would definitely visit again

Really well balanced, tasty veg/vegan choices. Staff were helpful and atmosphere was relaxed and chilled. Thoroughly recommended.
