Prima, niet veel opties - Edit
Paar Vega opties, 1 vegan optie. Wel fijn om tofu op de menu kaart te vinden. Eten was prima.

Food was okay-ish, service was horrible - Edit
While ordering and asking if they had any vegan starters, I was sneered off by the waitress. Not ordering any starter, I wanted to ask what the vegan options were for the main dishes. She said they were all vegan, so I corrected her and said that it was mostly dishes with cheese. She said that the tofu with vegetables was the only dish they offered.
Read moreSo we ordered the only vegan dish, which was 5 blocks of tofu on top of some grilled vegetables. Tasty sauce and the smoked tofu was also okay. But to charge 20 euros for 5 blocks of tofu is out of this world.
Summarised: extremely rude ‘service’ and totally overpriced food. Would not recommend this place at all.
Pros: Tofu and sauce had some goof flavour
Cons: One vegan dish, Very rude service, Overpriced

Vegan Pasta all’Arrabiata - Edit
Based on the other reviews I didn’t feel like having a tofu pasta, so I asked the staff for other options. Not clear from reading the menu, but the all’Arrabiata with GLUTEN FREE pasta is vegan. It tasted good. I also asked to add spinach, which they did.

Cons: Not enough vegan options, Unclear menu about gluten free being vegan

2 vegan options, not great - Edit
They serve a fried tofu and vegetables dish and a spaghetti with tofu. Lots of vegetarian options, but vegan is limited. I had the tofu spaghetti and it wasn’t very good. Sweet sauce, very little vegetables. No vegan desserts.

Spicy Tofu Noodles - Edit
I did enquire about the risotto but they normally make it with butter and cheese and he explained that without the cheese it was just rice so I went for the tofu noodles. These were a little too spicy for me (as many vegan options often are).

Two vegan options - Edit
Vegan food is very raw in this area of Austria so we were happy to find this place. There is a vegetarian/vegan section in the menu. Only two dishes are vegan since all the spaghetti and noodles contain egg. One dish is tofu and veggies and the other is a veggie risotto. It was nothing special and the tofu dish was quite pricy but we were happy to have something vegan.

surprised and delighted to see vegan section on menu! - Edit
We went here in October as it was one of the only restaurants open in the low season, we didn't expect to see a labelled vegan section on the menu in this tiny town! I had the crispy tofu on grilled vegetables which was lovely and healthy (especially compared to typical Austrian cuisine), we'll be returning to try the risotto and perhaps the tofu spaghetti too!
