Amazing brunch - Edit
I ordered the vegan brunch, think it was called Amazonas. Vegan sausages filled with spices, baked beans, avocado, mushrooms and toasts with smoked vegan cheese between. Also comes with a fruit salad, cappuccino with coconut milk and fresh squeezed orange juice. Skip breakfast and eat this. It went for around 24€ but you get a lot of food.

Delicious but Got food poisoning? - Edit
Really torn on submitting a star rating for this one. The food was actually delicious! both my fiance who is not vegan and I enjoyed our hamburgers. I got one of the Ubatuba vegan burger and loved all the different toppings/ flavors..... but I promptly got sick only a few hours after and was out of commission the next day. Could have been a coincidence but food poisoning seems more likely. I'd check the sanitation ratings if you decide to go (something i didn't do) maybe they will improve or will have improved by the time you're reading this

Good vibes - Edit
We had teo burgers and some starters. I loved the mandioca, so tasty! From the pictures I thought they’d have a ‘fake meat’ burger, but only available one was quinoa-based.
Read moreThey has paçoca, a brazilian peanut-based pastry, which I love.
Service was nice.
Options were clearly labelled.

Not that "artigianale" - Edit
This restaurant can be easily found just out on an alley by the main street and not far from the waterfront promenade, hats off for that!
Read moreThe vegan food they have is made out of processed ingredients and is more like junk food. It's satisfying but maybe not very talented nor healthy.
The price lies on the expensive end, so I wouldn't say it's good value food.
The staff is rude and unprofessional. They don't seem to know what they're doing as far as vegan food is concerned, and they don't care for it either. So when you ask questions about what you are eating or how it has been made they will be rather rude or blank you off. I had serious doubts myself they cooked vegan food with a separate set of tools than non-vegan food, and that's important for me. Besides, they will only offer an unsatisfactory explanation that will not be consistent with reality. I even heard them cursing a non-Italian customer in Italian thinking they can sneakily get away with it. So, no good vibes in this place, if you ask me.
As a positive trait, the menu is clearly labelled for vegan options, if they actually are, that is. So, this would be a good place to grab a bite without having to decipher Italian menus and you'd get fed.
Pros: This restaurant can be easily found, The menu is clearly labelled for vegan food
Cons: Vegan food made out of processed ingredients, Expensive, I wouldn't say it's good value food, The staff is rude and unprofessional. Bad vibes!

If you want a break of pasta and pizza this place is a great alternative. The “yuca” frita with vegan Mayo was awesome and the vegan burgers were good as well.

I don't know about the food, but possible the slowest service I ever witnessed.. - Edit
Possible the slowest service I ever witnessed... 30 minutes to just get a cappuccino. I had told the waiter I was in a hurry, as I had to take a boat, but didn't care. There were literally two tables to serve in front of me. Food was ok, non spectacular. Tapioca tasted like it was uncooked.

Quiet Spot with Good Food and Drinks - Edit
Located at the end of a small side street. It's the perfect location for a quite bite where you can also "pspsps" some local cats. The Ipatinga (quinoa burger with mushrooms, avocado, Campania semi-dried tomato, crispy onion, and barbecue sauce) had nice flavor with fresh toppings. When my family ordered platanos the server also brought out vegan mayo/ dip. Iced cappuccino made with soy also really good with beautiful presentation. They have several clearly labeled vegan options (see menu pics), including brunch, burgers, fresh juices, and soy for coffee drinks.

Fantastic vegan options - Edit
I’d give 5 star if I could. Went through the menu on our week long holiday. Sometimes we visited twice a day. The burger was fantastic. Chips were nice big portion and different from any we’d had before. The long list of of juices were so refreshing. The tapioca pancakes were a really nice change. The staff were always friendly, helpful and engaging. The setting just off of the Main Street was lovely and quiet. Would throughly recommend the oat milk orzo.
