Das GustaV ist ein kleines, sehr feines, gemütliches veganes Bistro mit wechselnden Tagesgerichten, Sandwiches und anderen leckeren Speisen. Auch die Schoko-Kokos-Rohkost Tarte war ein Traum. Alles mit viel Liebe zum Detail schnell zubereitet.

Beim Betreten des Cafés fühlt man sich leider direkt unwohl. Aufgrund der guten Bewertungen wollten wir dem Laden dennoch eine Chance geben.
Read moreDie Bedienung war eher unfreundlich. Der Kaffee war zwar gut, allerdings wurde auf der Karte nur „Kuchen des Tages“ angeboten. Später haben wir mitbekommen, dass es tatsächlich mehrere Kuchen zur Auswahl gab – kommuniziert wurde das jedoch nicht.
Uns wurde letztlich ein trockener, sehr durchschnittlicher Kuchen serviert.
Insgesamt enttäuschend – wir würden nicht noch einmal wiederkommen.

Wonderful little vegan cafe - Edit
My first stop in Salzburg and it was delightful. A small little cafe with simple but ample menu. I had the salad and was surprised at the cashew feta! It was delicious. And finished off with a chocolate raspberry cake and a matcha. I will likely be back while here for a few days.

GustaV is perhaps the most welcoming place in Austria, with friendly people who want to share their passion for healthy vegan food! The owner is a very sweet lady and the food is on point! I ordered their goulash and it came with fresh warm bread. The lattes and cakes are also not to be missed!

Twelve seats inside, that's it. When we were there, only one single dish was left, all else was sold out so that no food head to be thrown away over the weekend. Good music. Waiter/waitress disappeared for a while 😅 so kitchen staff tried their best. Very friendly.

I'm a recurring visitor since at least five years. It's my favourite place. The owner is so nice and it's so cozy. All the monthly sandwiches are delicious and really big. I try to come here every month to try every single one of them. So yeah, I fully recommend it!

Delicious Sandwich but a little bit too expensive - Edit
we had the monthly changing sandwich several times. It was always very delicious but for our taste a little bit small especially for the price of nearly 16€ per sandwich. We always left a little bit hungry and had to eat something afterwards. It would be nice if you could get a whole sandwich and not only a half for this price. The owner is nice and the atmosphere is cosy.

The food was nice. I had a spaghetti bolognaise (dish of the day) which felt a lot like home cooking, nothing special, a little too salty and a kind of small serving but otherwise great. My husband had a sandwich which on the other hand seemed very ambitious, a little busy and too big for him to finish, but he liked it a lot.
