Good sausages - Edit

For me it's the best vegan sausages in the world ;) I love the Montréalaises ones !
We went once at the fast food restaurant, the hot-dog is really good, but they should add fries or salad on the side !

Pros: The best sausages

Cons: The lack of seatings

local - Edit

awesome vegan sausages and chesses - Edit

Great place! They also serve inexpensive completr breakfast on weekends now (not sure if its still only on weekends)! The tables are a bit high though which is inconvinient for families and they should add more seating places cause its quiet popular!

Pros: great food, inexpensive

Cons: high chairs and tables , few seats

My favorite veggie-dog - Edit

Amazing hot dog, in a pretzel with crunchy onion bits. So nice during a hangover.

Not bad, quick options for market days - Edit

While it's definitely nice to have an option for Jean Talon Market shopping days, I just can't get myself to rave about Gusta. Their products, although flavorful, seem dry and dense (consequently they barely heat through when cooking resulting in a lukewarm sandwich). I also feel like they need to expand their seating area and ditch the wooden stools.

Pros: Good vegan option, Grab and go

Cons: Not a meal you'll savor, Vegan meats are quite dry, Indoor seating area really needs improvement

Great sausages and convenient snack - Edit

Gusta is mainly a vegan store that makes its own sausages and cheese but they offer here various snacks: burgers, sandwiches, kebabs. The kebab is great, as well as their potatoes. I also liked the 3-cheese sandwich even if it was not my best one. Food is good and affordable and the place is perfectly located near Jean-Talon market. The staff is friendly and the place is pleasant.

Pros: great sausages, friendly staff, convenient snack, friendly staff

Great option at the Jean-Talon Market - Edit

Finally a vegan spot right in the market!

I've tried quite a few different items on the menu and the caesar salad is a favorite of mine, along with the panisse.

The burger Big Gusta and and breakfast burrito are also pretty good. I just with most sandwiches were a little less salty, but other than that the food is spot on.

The sausages you can buy on site or wonderful.

Pros: Great food, Friendly staff, Good vibe

Cons: Service could be quicker

Amazing!! - Edit

I don't think you can go wrong with anything they make. The sausages are probably the best vegan sausages out there. Happy to see that they are expanding and growing as a company outside of Québec!

Pros: Everything

Best grilled cheese sandwich ever! - Edit

Gusta's grilled cheese sandwich was delicious.

That was the first time since I became vegan (more or less 4 year ago) that I had a vegan grilled cheese sandwich. You can even add a sausage, and I did it.

I highly recommend it.

Pros: Excellent food, Friendy staff, Nice Vibe

Sausages anyone?? - Edit

Gusta is becoming a sausage (and cheese) empire that has spread into Ontario (well Toronto at least!) So it was with great enthusiasm that I stopped in for a burger and about 3 pounds of sausages and cheese (the latter to go!) I gulped the burger (great) and got a grilled cheese to go for the next day. The grilled cheese had bits of sausage - nice touch!

They sell both the packaged version of sausages and the "bulk" (and larger) kind. Awesome.

Best breakfast burrito ever! - Edit

The cheddar is perfect: tasty and melty. And the breakfast sausages and tofu scramble are perfectly seasoned. What a treat for Monday morning!

Great service and decor - Edit

The place is set up like a butcher shop and has a seating area for people who order food. It's entirely vegan BTW. The sausages and cheese are awesome. They let you taste everything before you buy it which is great. Next time, I'll try one of their kebab sandwiches!

Pros: Delicious food, Friendly service

Cons: Would love to see a bigger variety of products

GUSTA ouvre enfin son restaurant: comfort food all the way! - Edit
