Delicious

This place is delicious. TONS of vegan options, that are well marked on the menu. Super friendly and attentive staff. Would give 5 stars if I could!

Pros: Taste, Service

Yum!

So many options. Very flavorful food
Update: incredibly rude staff that made my family feel unwelcome. They stared us down the whole time and kept bringing us our food and apps together, when we asked for it to be brought separately. They had a whole hour left, to let us eat, but rushed us, like they closed in 10 minutes. Very sad to see them lose their kindness.

Rude staff

If you like to be watched and feel rushed while you’re having a meal, come to Guru!

Also, food tastes microwaved. Super standard flavors and spices. Seems like they get their recipes from the “how to make easy Indian food” book.

Go to Cilantro in Winter Garden instead.

Best Indian food!

Ok, I didn’t think I liked Indian food until tonight. My husband and I are in town for work from CA and decided to order in for our anniversary. They have so many vegan options. We had the Dal Palak, naan, basmati rice, mango chutney, etc. I think I need to order from here again tomorrow before we leave. 🤣 Now I’m sad to go home and not have this place nearby!! (I can’t do spicy so I did mild, but my husband can and they adjust to various spice levels). Amazing!!!

Delicious food and great service

My food was delicious! My server was very knowledgeable! You pick your level of spice. The menu items are clearly marked Vegan. The chutneys were delicious especially the mango. The basmati rice they serve with your food was so fragrant and delicious . Itwas on the expensive side but well worth it.

Pros: Vegan Naan , Vegan desserts

One of my favorite restaurants (vegan or otherwise) in The Clermont area!

Sit-down restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating (not just take-out as the description suggests). Lots of delicious vegetarian options as well as plenty of vegan selections. Flavors are incredible. Vegetarian entrees start around $14, but there’s enough food for delicious leftovers!

Delicious Vegan options

Indian restaurant with the vegan options listed on the menu. Delicious Food, excellent service, beautiful atmosphere. Love the eggplant dish. Even though their hours say specific closing times, they will close early if they are not busy. You will have a wasted trip.

Pros: Delicious Vegan food

Cons: Their hours change daily.

Amazing Food but Poor Service

Like the title says, the food here is fantastic. I really enjoy the paneer dishes and get one every time I come. I came one weekend and literally spent an hour and a half just waiting on the food. Thankfully I had nowhere to be, but I certainly did not want to spend 2+ hours on a one course dinner I expected to last 45 minutes. I'm just too antsy for that. However, coming here when it is slow is nice and the owner is very good to talk to. I would suggest getting take-out on the weekends.

Pros: Food, Atmosphere, Take-out

Cons: Service, Location, Price

Very good, but pricy

Stopped by Guru last week while in Orlando. The place is located off the tourist zone and in a large complex of shops. The decor is nice, staff unusually gushing and helpful. The menu is fairly robust, and has a vegetarian-- not vegan-- section, but the owner/operator is very willing to make veganized adjustments. But you'd need to ask for most dishes, so be advised. Food was excellent, but prices run a touch high. Expect ~$15-20 per plate.

Pros: Excellent food, Helpful staff

Cons: A little tough to find, Pricy, Need to ask to get vegan options
