Great find for Indian Vegetarian/Vegan Dishes - Edit

We ate here for the first time several days ago and we are already planning on going back. By my count there are close to 30 items that can be made vegan and they are clearly identified as such on their menu. In addition to those, there are many more vegetarian items. For our first visit we were there for dinner and for our first meal at Guru Curry House we had the Vegetable Pakora as our appetizer, the Malai Kofta and Veggie Korma with Basmit Rice (one order is enough for two people) for our main courses accompanied by Garlic Naan to soak up the delicious sauces. They also serve lunch and we are planning to go back soon to experience that - particularly their vegetarian Thali.

Lotsof vegan options - Edit

Ordered delivery from Guru Curry, and as menu wasn’t 100% clear,phoned the restaurant. Restaurant staffer very helpful, advised mark choices vegan and would not be an issue. I felt very reassured! Had mushroom mattar, pakoras and naan. Great that several naan options were vegan! Generous portions for a reasonable price. My only negatives is that tamarind or mint chutney are not automatically included, and even when requested, small amounts provided. Also, their “ mild” is very mild, so if you like some spiciness, make sure to order that way!

Pros: Vegan curries and naan!, Generous portions, Good quality, freshly made

Cons: Chutneys not included, and servings sizes small, “Mild” is so mild its almost bland

Tibetan curries - Edit

Lots of vegan options and not your everyday Indian food. Try the vegan naan. Staff are very nice too.

Chana masala! - Edit

I order their Chana masala a couple times a week, it's one of my favorite spots for Indian food in the area. The samosas are large and extremely delicious.
