AMAZING coffee but NOT a good vegan restaurant - Edit

Gulu Gulu makes my favorite cup of coffee and likewise favorite latte (with soy) I've ever had, but yes like the prior reviews, it is primarily a bar / cafe and is rather lacking in terms of vegan menu options. That being said, their coffee is incredible and they own Flying Saucer pizza right next door who have plenty of vegan options.

Pros: amazing coffee , good atmosphere

Cons: very few vegan options , primarily a bar

The $9 Bagel Sandwich - Edit

This place has a hipster-like ambiance with hipster art on the walls and a soundtrack to match. Don't let that fool you. The vegan selection kinda sucks. There's one bona-fide vegan item on the entire menu (a wrap), and other items can be "made vegan" by subtracting key ingredients like eggs and cheese at full price. I got a $9 bagel sanwich filled with some veggies and mustard minus said eggs and cheese with no side included. It's a nice accommodation in a pinch, but I think it's a stretch to call this a 'vegetarian-friendly' destination. The service seemed a bit slow too as it took 20 mins to be seen by a server after being seated at a semi-busy time.

This is a crappy veg place and is more of a bar - Edit

Its a bar, lots of alcohol and a very lame food selection. The menu is pretty much all breakfast and snack stuff. Go a few steps own the street to Live Alive and eat a good meal instead. That's what we did!

Pros: Coffee and Booze

Cons: Menu blows
