Guate-Maki is a Japanese ex-pat makes sushi (non-veg) for other ex-pats and can make vegan sushi. Order via phone, text, or facebook message on Tuesday, and she will give you an address for pick up on Wednesday. Call for hours - tell us.

Excellent sushi - Edit

Guate-Maki is the only place to get vegan sushi in Quetzaltenango. Mika is a long term ex-pat and sells sushi every Wednesday, but you have to order by e-mail, facebook message, or text on Tuesday.

Solid hit-the-spot rolls that range from 20Q to 25Q depending on what kind of ingredients she uses for the week.

As of November 2014, she is still in Quetzaltenango and still making rolls.

Pros: Cheap.

Cons: Wednesday only.
