Padoca is a must-visit restaurant! - Edit
If you’re nearby VN Gaia, this is a mandatory trip. Everything on the menu is (vegan and) masterfully cooked/baked and delicious. Though a bit pricey to try everything, it’s so definitely worth it. I wish I lived next to it!

Crazy pastry options including typical ones! - Edit
This place has many pastries quite close to "the real thing". Sadly, idk if its just because of the day i went, but the sweet ones were just donuts (a lot of variety in them tho) :(( was looking for a more different/typical option like in the photos here, wasnt worth going there on purpose.

Highly recommend the coffee latte with whipped cream, it was super fluffly and velvety which is not very common to find vegan
Delicious oreo hit chocolate, thyre whipped cream is rly amazing
I do find it amazing tho that they have tradicional portuguese SALTY pastries!!! That i didnt try, but they looked great. Like bread with chorizo and "lanches", good for a on the go snack

La comida, espectacular. Tomamos la francesinha (wow😄)y una burger de “pollo” y es imposible que estuviera mejor. Pero lo que más destacó fue la atención del staff, ante una noche con muchísima gente (mesas de 18 y 8), fueron súper profesionales, siempre con una sonrisa, con atención dedicada y profesional. Oh wauw. This restaurant was absolutely amazing. The staff was really friendly and gave us some recommendations, and those were so good. They were very passionate about the food and made us feel so welcome. The food was so super delicious. My partner and I still talk about it, months after visiting. This will be the first restaurant we will go back to when we visit Porto again, no doubt. Also a very queer friendly place, which I love. We took some treats to our apartment, some of the best savoury and sweets we've ever eaten. Not exaggerating ;-). Would definitely recommend!

What an absolute gem of a place! Well worth visiting the other side of the river (& walking uphill) for 😉 Couldn’t decide what we liked best, because everything was equally amazing! The recommendations by our waiter were spot on 👌 He was very knowledgeable about the menu & just a great host. The starters, mains, sides, desserts - all were absolutely delicious! A great menu with veganized traditional Portuguese classics & regular worldwide favorites. We also got a lot of mouth-watering pastries to go. I cannot recommend this place enough. Can’t wait to visit again! 10/10.

The only thing hard to find here is space in your stomach because you wish you could try everything!!!
The staff are super friendly and welcoming.

THE best place in Porto! - Edit
This place is my new go to fav in Porto! It has masses of choice in terms of no meat and no chicken burgers, tortillas with fillings - the cheese n chorizo starter is a MUST - AND Vegan fransecinhos!!! Also more traditional dishes like soup, and meatballs with rice, beans etc. Added to that are friendly staff and good prices. You will NOT be disappointed to go here - I am currently considering coming back tonight for evening meal!!

This spot is definitely worth checking out. We tried their soup, burgers, and wrap, and the flavors were amazing, proving that vegan food can be surprisingly tasty. We highly recommend stopping by. The staff was also extremely friendly. If you're in Porto, make sure to head to Gaia and experience their delightful menu.

Great varied menu. I had the franshisha sandwich which was how the meaty version is described. He couldn’t get over the bright green burger bun. Lots of options, salads, burger, pancakes etc. the window display of pastries is a wonderful sight. A complementary pasta de nata was a welcome treat between port tastings! Thoroughly recommend.

It’s a fully vegan bakery that has all the delicious pastry like pasteis de nata, cakes and very fancy and delicious donuts etc. it also takeaway snacks like pizza and filled salty pastry. and it’s also a restaurant with super delicious food. everything for a super fair price. went there two times in a row. the people there are very friendly and also up for a little chat if wanted.

I luckily passed by this restaurant by chance while wondering where would I find vegan food so late.

I had the Padini Moussrella e chourizo and Pate de Atum and a delicious Oreo donut.
The food was so good!
Best of all was the service by Teresa who was such a sweetheart, so attentive and professional. She definitely illuminates the place with her vibes.

Read moreYou can find a wide variety of fresh baked goods, both sweet and savoury, traditional Portuguese sweets and pastries but veganized. There's also pancakes and waffles so it's a perfect for breakfast/brunch!
If you want to have dinner or lunch the food is also great, the Francesinha is amazing and one of the best ones in Porto.
I've absolutely loved eveything I've tried and I've gone a lot of times.
It also has birthday cakes (or any other cakes) by order.
The staff is super friendly!
