I came here on a road trip with my family, two who are omnivores and I am vegan, and we were all extremely satisfied! The vegan options are incredible and one of the best vegan Mexican food options out there! I love that the vegan food is made on a separate grill and is super inclusive for plant-based diets, as there is the same size menu for vegan and omni eaters. It is amazing how they've managed to perfect vegan substitutions that work so well in the meal! The price is extremely reasonable for the generous portion size and it leaves you feeling like you've had some comfort food. We hope to come back soon!

Such a great find right off of the freeway. Best vegan quesadilla I’ve ever had. The “chicken” is very flavorful. Lots of options and the owner definitely has pride in quality.

Variety of vegan options, all delicious. I got three different tacos and they were all wonderful. The staff was super friendly. They didn’t give me the option to tip on the card and I didn’t have cash so be prepared for that! The food comes out quickly and the plant-based options are yummy.

Amazing spot in Bakersfield. Passing through on my way north and stopped in for a Cali Burrito. Hands down one of my favorite burritos I have had. Their menu is clearly marked with vegan options and has many different protein choices to pick from.

I was absolutely amazed by the amount of vegan options on the menu and how AMAZING they tasted. I had the vegan 3 taco combo lunch special for 8.99 and then went back later that night to get the street dawg and an al paztor quesadilla. Definitely recommend, so GOOD wow.

Guapos never ceases to amaze me with the various options. I love that I can enjoy the same foods as my family and friends and not feel left out with only eating side dishes. Their Fortas and Guapo fries are my favorite. Large portions and excellent flavor.

The food was delicious, kid approved, even approved by my very picky eater!! The customer service was a bit lacking. The girl behind the counter seemed very annoyed with us asking for a cup with a lid (I wanted water and we were getting food to go since we were on the road from LA to SF).

Proceeded to lie about my burrito being vegan - Edit
My friend and I stopped in here. I’m vegan; he’s not. Somehow they switched up our burritos in the boxes. I quickly noticed something was off on my first bite. My friend the same. We went inside to show them. After completely opening up our burritos which looked completely different from one another. They decided to lie and continue to say mine was vegan. I went to take another bite and knew for certain this time they served me chicken. We went back in to confront them. Once again ripped open the burrito at which point they began to blame it on us. If this place is willing to purposely feed someone meat that could get very ill if they ate it then not only is this place not vegan friendly but a danger to people.

This place has two menus - on the left is the meat menu, on the right is the exact same menu 100% vegan plant based. The food here is excellent! I had an Azada taco and the CAli Burrito. I’m full of really good tasting taco joint food. I was 100% pleased and will be back often.

So amazing to find this gem in Bakersfield! You can get your Mexican street food fix here, fully vegan and muy delicioso! The "twin kitchen" that allows vegan food to be prepped separately from meat-based dishes is great, and there's a cool t-shirt to take home so you'll always remember how much fun you had eating here.

I love this place! They have 2 separate grills to make sure there is not any cross contamination! The best vegan tacos I’ve had in town ! Oh and since I went vegan I never thought I could eat a Mexican elote again but I was wrong and guapos tacos gas nailed it !!! I just wish you guys would open a second location in rosedale!

This place is a gem in Bakersfield. They have a separate plant-based menu as well as a menu for your meat eater friends. I ordered the original burrito with a side of vegan sour cream and it didn’t disappoint! The service was really good too.
