Delicious food and lovely staff

Just a 5 min walk from the river, this large restaurant has noodle soups, a la carte and buffet style options. Also many snacks and frozen mock meats to take away. Everything was delicious and inexpensive.

Pros: Cheap, Many options

Cons: Closes at 3pm - no dinner service

Reliable Lampang Veg Food

Well located near the river and the center of town, this restaurant seems to be quite popular. It has the standard pre-cooked food on display and so much more.

There is a wide range of food that can be cooked fresh to order as well as a separate coffee and bakery section. There is a lot of faux meat on offer here, if you like that.

The decor here is nicer than most Veg shops in town. There are tables and nice booths to sit in. Prices are reasonable, but higher than some other places. I was happy to find the place because Covid-19 has closed many places.

Pros: Good variety of food, Good location, Nice decor

Cons: Closes early

Yummy

I came here with my dad for lunch and we were greeted by the sweet owner who speaks great English. We both had the pad kra pow and loved it. The portions are big too which is an added bonus. She will make the food how you like it, so if you want it more or less spicy this isn't a problem. The drinks we had were perfect too, not too sweet and perfectly cold on such a hot day!

good choices of food, spacious and clean

Directly across the street from Wat Chiang Rai, the silver temple in Lampang. Ask for Wat Chiang Rai to find the place, if all else fails!

Best vegetarian food in Lampang

This buffet and small a la carte restaurant has a very friendly owner who speaks a few words English. The food is superb, also the buffet just before closing time. Much better than the regular Chinese vegan restaurants in Thailand.

Good Choice in Lampang

There are several Thai style shops in Lampang but look no further than this one. They have a huge choice, open every day and the shop is a clean and comfortable place to sit. Friendly staff too. Very cheap. Central location. It's a shame their bakery items contain milk but the dishes are all vegan.

Pros: Clean and modern place, Friendly staff, Wide variety

Cons: Use milk in the bakery item
