Simple refreshing soup in relaxing Anping District

On a hot sunny afternoon I was thrilled to find this shady cafe. The owner was a radiant woman who has been vegan for 25 years. Even though I did not visit at a regular meal time, she was happy to provide me with a bowl of soup for only $50 Taiwan dollars. I left invigorated and ready for all the touristing!
