CLOSED: Gruszki Pietruszki

Good food, but quite some wait for the lunch. The lunch was cheap and as an earlier reviewer said, the menu (only in polish) was quite clear on what was vegan and what was lacto-ovo.

This café/bar/restaurant is located in a very nice square, perfect for a quiet dinner or brunch.

They have a basic permanent menu with different spreads (different flavours of hummus, pesto and chutney), cheese or tofu salads, soups and daily main dishes and desserts.

Most of the dishes are vegan and are clearly marked in the menu.

I went here a couple of times and tried their quiche, soup, salad, spreads, burger and desserts. All food was fresh and tasty. Staff is friendly and will help you with translating the menu.

On the negative side, the bread accompanying the meals is quiet disappointing and goes a bit against the whole philosophy of the place (organic local seasonal produce) and could maybe be replaced with a nicer alternative...
Also their choice of music is very questionable for such a nice place and location.

Alternative bistro, serving vegan and vegetatian food. I had a spicy Thai Soup, a delishious salad with suprising incredients, and a sweet, heavy cake.
The menu cards are written in polish only, but stuff is helpfull in selecting some foods.
The bistro has a nice, relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
