Feines Fondue - Edit
Das Käsefondue ist megafein und hat uns dieses Jahr noch besser geschmeckt alles im letzten. Auch das eingelegte Gemüse war überzeugend. Der Kellner war sehr sympathisch und hilfsbereit. Lediglich die Jurte könnte viel gemütlicher und atmosphärischer sein, es wirkt so etwas trostlos.

Super good hot sandwich! - Edit
SO I had the tofu sandwich they offer and it was super tasty and warm. Most vegan sandwiches disappoint , but this one hits the spot. I had a Non Alcoholic beer as well that was good. I didnt try their ice cream but I will next time for sure. They had a full vegan pizza menu as well.

The only con though eliminates itself with the other pro, no? If we‘re able to speak proper english - why would we have a menu in english, in a swiss german town? Should we also have one in chinese then, or french, italian, rumantsch, spanish, portuguese etc? And is THIS the reason not to give 5 stars? Made me wonder...

I had a sandwich with cashew cheese. It was very tasty, but not especially large, especially for 13 CHF. They also offered excellent muffins.

Would you care to know how much the (unsubsidised because vegan) organic cashew camembert costs in the store? CHF 12.95! Half such a cheese is in the sandwich. No need to say more I figure ;)

Alles frisch, liebevoll und Umweltfreundlich zubereitet, was seine Zeit kostet. Aber die Wartezeit lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Gangsta Wrap rules! Der Cashew "Brie" Sandwich ist auch super lecker! Selfmade Ginger Lemonade oder Mate-Guarana Getränk dazu ;-)

Great lunch choices and the tofu “chicken” inside wraps was a favorite. Melted cashew cheese in sandwiches was also a big hit with our family. Highly recommend.

At its third location at the bar *Les Amis", Grüner Gaumen offers warm wraps (gangster-wrap with fake chicken and champion-wrap with champignons), hot sandwiches (seitan or tofu with lotsa greens and amazing spreads), salads, apple pie, brownies, cappuccino, Ginger-turmeric Lemonade and in summer, sushi.

The staff was quite moody and unfriendly. The food is not bad, although a bit tasteless. Prices are relatively high, since you pay 10.50 fr. for a sandwich.

The food indeed is not bad if 99% of my customers are honest ;) and regarding the prices: the ingedients are organic and pricey, yes.
The Sandwich works as a meal, which means it feeds you for lunch, furthermore it is freshly prepared, and comes hot from the oven. Comparison: 14.- for a hot sandwich (which is not even organic) at Adrianos. Bern, baby, Bern. Not Zurich or Geneva, but thereabouts when it comes to prices.

They fridge broke down when I was there so they didn't have the sushis and it took them for ever to make the sandwich (also due to the fridge). I got the warm grilled tofu sandwich, which tasted nice. The staff is nice and friendly.
