Previously a vegetarian cafe; now a chocolate and cake shop with vegan options. Also sells a selection of books on the topics of permaculture, organic gardening, sustainability, community, herbalism and plant identification. Open Mon 11:00am-5:00pm, Tue-Sat 10:00am-5:00pm, Sun 11:00am-4:00pm.

Nothing Vegan Here Today 😢

Seemed like a cool place, friendly, told me the vegan chocolate would be back in a couple weeks… The art they had on display was very cool.

Pros: Neat artwork

Cons: Lots of non-vegan food

Delicious food

I stopped in today for lunch and had a delicious soup (borscht) and a open faced sandwich (mushroom pate with tomato and sprouts on spurdough). The owners are so kind and the atmosphere of the store is very relaxing. Great place, I would recommend! There were great vegan options😄
