The loveliest deli!! - Edit
Me and my friend visited today and we were greeted and assisted by the lovely Rose! The food was so delicious I had the homemade mushroom soup! By far the nicest vegetarian food I’ve had. It’s nice to eat somewhere that’s trying to be as sustainable as possible.

The best Vegan Cafe find in the least expected place! - Edit
Grow Green Cafe (& refill store) is an absolute gem of a place. The food is all vegan, utterly scrumptious and all the staff are friendly, compassionate, helpful and kind. The mushroom, coconut and chilli soup was the best soup my husband and I have ever tasted….thick, flavoursome and one of a kind.

We were so excited by our first visit 2 weeks ago, that we simply had to return this week when our friends from Portugal came to visit us in our new home in West Yorkshire. They were ‘blown away’ by this precious and delightful vegan cafe too. Keep up the great work. 💜
Pros: All vegan delicious food, Very friendly and helpful staff, Great barista coffee and lovely oat milk
Cons: Wished we lived a little closer

Vegan delight - Edit
Visited on Sunday afternoon with a friend and really enjoyed this cosy place. Lovely lady behind the counter, everything clean and a very pleasant music (not too loud). Food was fresh and so tasty we took no time for a photo😄Had a curried cauliflower soup with nicely warmed bread & butter, latte, almond croissant and amaretto biscuit- all super delicious! Wish I knew about this place earlier, so lovely to find a quiet place away from all the noise, with healthier food options and to be able to park so close with no extra fee. I will definitely come back again and bring friends!

The menu was small but our mouths were watering at the thought of several things. We both had the breakfast in the end! So nice not to have fake meat included.

We bought things to eat at home & went over the road to the little refill shop and spent some more on high quality, ethical products. Lovely chat too.

Classy Decor - Edit
Small area downstairs with a few seats, main cafe seating up steep, high step, enclosed stairs with breakables at side of stairs. On the way down my coat caught something, scary near miss. The toilet is upstairs as well, the lock is on the door handle and looks like a loose screw! My companion had soup and sourdough bread, he was very happy with the portion size. I had avocado on sourdough toast, came as two slices. Really disappointed with the small amount of avocado smeared across the toast, if I’d scraped it up into what is an acceptable amount on the toast it might have just covered one slice. I used my partners spread to cover the rest of the toast. I had to ask for salt and black pepper to season the avocado because it was bland without anything added. The only oat milk on offer is Minor Figures which I can’t drink and I didn’t fancy the other plant milks on offer so had a glass of water. My companion was happy with his smoothie which he felt was good value.

A must visit! - Edit
Having recently moved to the village from Leeds where we were spoilt for choice with vegan options, we were so excited to discover Grow existed - and it hasn’t disappointed!
Read moreEverything here is brilliant, delicious food with a changing menu of tasty and unique specials, great coffee, fabulous staff and a friendly relaxed atmosphere. I’ve eaten my way through most of the menu (no shame!) and it’s all delicious. Food is classic brunch/lunch bits - granola bowls, tofu scramble, paninis, focaccias, salad bowls, soups, avo toast etc. and lot of lovely treaty cakes/pastries. The portion sizes are good and food is really reasonably priced IMO. I’ve taken vegan, veggie, flexi, and even practically carnivorous friends/family here and they’ve all found something to enjoy.
The deli element is great as well - from gorgeous sourdough breads, to the freshest fruit and veg, right through to delicious vegan chocolate there’s a great range of basics to keep the cupboards stocked and little treats too!
If you’re in the area you should definitely check out this little gem.
Pros: Delicious food , Friendly staff , Good value

Perfect Vegan eatery - Edit
I love Grow - been a regular customer since the refill store opened, but when the deli and eatery opened I was in Vegan heaven! Absolutely delicious food to eat in or take out. The savoury food is fantastic, but as a vegan with a passion for baking, I'm always spoilt for choice with the mouth watering pastries, tarts, scones and many more homemade treats that never disappoint. They have regular deliveries of quality sourdough bread, and fresh fruit and veg.
Read moreIt's so nice to have somewhere completely vegan near to me, with fantastic food and friendly staff.

Great food lovely staff 💚 - Edit
We adore this cafe! It has become a regular part of our weekend routine with my 6 year old who asked to become vegan recently. He loves the hot chocolate, cakes, peanut and jam bagels, the selection of books and toys, and filling up our bottle with oat milk to take home. He is also a massive fan of the staff, they are always so welcoming and answer all of his (many) questions.
Read moreI love that everything is vegan so I don’t need to check, all the food is delicious and the croissants are amazing. The wifi is excellent too. The staff are always so welcoming and I’ve learnt so much from chatting to a fellow vegan mum as we’re transitioning to a vegan lifestyle.
Love it.
Pros: Great food, Friendly staff, Child friendly
Cons: Small - you might not get a seat! , Erm , Can’t think of anything else!

My favourite place - Edit
I have tried almost everything on the menu and it is all excellent. There are also regularly changing specials which have all been amazing too. The soup is always so good - I didn’t even like soup before and now I am in my Soup Era. The cakes are also delicious and so are the Saturday Croissants.

Grow Green - Edit
Deli and cafe situated over two floors, the deli area downstairs with a few seats available. The cafe seating is mainly upstairs, although it isn’t a big place I had no problem getting a table. Alongside the deli and fresh bakery offerings were zero waste products, fridge space with chilled vegan prepackaged food and pies, and a good selection of fresh fruit and vegetables. The staff were really welcoming, chatty, and happy to suggest dishes as I was struggling to choose! I opted for the avocado on sourdough. On arrival it had tomato and cucumber on top which wasn’t mentioned on the menu. I have never been a fan of tomato so would’ve ordered without had I known, and both the tomato and cucumber made the bread quite soggy unfortunately. It also for me needed some extra seasoning, lime or chilli flakes to elevate the flavour as it was rather bland tasting, there were no salt and pepper shakers provided on the tables to season to personal taste. I took a blueberry scone home and this was delicious. Baked to perfection, crumbly scone texture and the blueberries added a lovely flavour. The chick’n pie was also nice. I’d definitely return if in the area again and look forward to trying some other options on the menu. Parking available on side streets. Dog friendly venue.

I had been shopping at the Grow Refill store (just across the road from the deli) for a while, so was keen to try the Deli when I heard it was opening.

Unique menu, wonderful experience! - Edit
We went to Grow Green Deli and Eatery for lunch and the choice of food was original and delicious. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. We had the Buddha bowl, harissa tapenade and sour dough, kimchi, and the Green Goddess smoothie and Espresso Yourself smoothie. We had large portions and it was all extremely tasty, fresh, and often locally sourced vegan food. The smoothie glasses were the largest we’ve ever seen in our lives! We finished off with yummy home made ginger and cocoa cake. There was a little shop selling ethical gifts and fruit and veg which were also delightful. We really liked their ethos too. Highly recommend. We will be back!

Awesome and friendly small café - Edit
We stumbled upon Grow on our way to Pigs in the Wood and met one of the owners. She was super friendly and we had a lovely chat. We'd already had breakfast, but as the food looked so tasty and the sausage rolls had just been reduced to £1.50 we decided to get a couple as a mid-day snack. We were not disappointed. The pastry and filling were really nice.
Read moreNo surprise then that the next 2 mornings (we were on holiday) we went back to Grow for breakfast. The first day I had a cheese panini, with coleslaw and salad and he second day I had an avocado, hummus and spinach focaccia. There were 5 of us both days and we were all really happy with our food and drinks. It was tasty, good value for money and filling, especially the smoothies which were pretty huge! One of our friends couldn't stop raving about the banana, peanut and coffee smoothie.
One of the best things in my view was that they were quite happy to serve anything they had at any time of day, meaning that we could have lunch menu items before 11:30.
Pros: Friendly and accommodating, Fresh and tasty, Good value for money
