Grove Cafe, Northshore Plaza, Singapore

I asked the server if the Nasi Lemak is vegan. He replied yes. I thus ordered Nasi Lemak take away. When later sat down to eat, I immediately spotted a boiled egg is included.
HappyCow won't let me rate this venue lower than 2 stars. This venue deserves zero stars imho.

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Egg included in dishes the server claims are vegan

Best nasi lemak in town

Grove's nasi lemak has been voted as the best nasi lemak in Singapore by VSS members 2021, I ordered the eggless version, the blue pea rice by itself is full of coconut milk fragrance, the peanut, anchovies and belinjo crackers are crunchy, the long bean is well cooked, the sambal is nice, the otah and rendang lion mane mushroom are great, everything is just on point, for me it's really the best nasi lemak in Singapore too, recommended.

Affordable with Varieties

A cozy place for a good vegetarian meal. Usually have eggs in most of the dishes. Do remind to omit if you’re vegan.

Pros: Varieties of cuisine , Friendly staff

Cons: Quite pricey , Over crowded

Love the menu here!

Good menu options where you can hop by anytime for breakfast, lunch, tea-break or dinner. Was there on a weekend morning and had my favourite vegetarian sticky rice in lotus leaf (荷叶饭)with a cup of Kopi. Plus curry Chee Cheong Fun. Delish.

Location is a bit out of the way, but it is a short walking distance to the Waterfront I & II, to enjoy the nice seaview, Punggol Beach and Punggol Settlement. Walk or cycle a little further you will reach Corney Island.

Good place for having a pit stop at Grove to refuel is just perfect before venturing futher.

Spacious cafe with vegan options

Located around punggol residents. Staff are friendly, cafe is spacious and clean (new outlet). ~2 vegan main options available 😋

Pros: Love the chee cheong fun
