Amazing food

Damn, we went a couple of times and the food is soo good. They know what vegan means and are happy to make some of the vegetarian tacos/burritos vegan. Service is really fast and the prices fair. Would go there again😄

Nicaraguan Taco Stand, Easy to Make Vegan

Gritanga was our favorite restaurant in Portrero. It’s a little stand out behind the brewery with outdoor seating. The food is Nicaraguan style, with spicy yellow rice and roasted habanero salsa. The staff was all women and they were totally prepared to make the Guacatarian tacos or burritos vegan (just hold the sour cream). The yuca fries come vegan automatically and the quesadilla comes vegetarian. If you are vegan in Portrero, this is the spot!

Pros: accommodating to modifications, cheap and convenient, great compared to other options nearby

Cons: few automatically vegan options
