Vegan burgers are great - other vegan items, not so much - Edit
I've always been a huge fan of grill'd so naturally disappointed when I became vegan and there weren't many options. They brought out their first vegan cheese burger a while ago and it was okay. Very oily and heavy. They obviously got a lot of feedback because they changed it really quickly and the new one is great!
Read moreIt's made from pea protein, which is one of the best foods for me to eat!
They also have adopted the beyond burger and you can change any burger to be vegetarian now.
Where they lack is outside the patties.
The cheese and the vegan mayo are only okay - luckily you can't notice is too much when eating the burger. But they have so many great sauces that can easily be made vegan. I would love to see a vegan Chipotle mayo etc! If they changed the sauces to all good quality vegan alternatives (like Byron Wholefoods) non vegans would not even notice.
The other problem I have is the bread. I loved the low carb bun, but it contains egg! There's no need. It can easily be swapped for a vegan alternative (e.g flax seed & water - flax egg) and you're opening part of the menu to a huge amount of your customers!
Overall it's great that you can basically exchange anything on any burger so you can kind of invent your own vegan burger. But would definitely like to see more vegan 'extras'.
Pros: Lots of options for substitutions, Expanding their vegan menu, Actively promoting vegan options to meat eaters
Cons: Sauce choice is very limited and not that nice. , If you're gluten free the bread is not that nice , And the low carb bun contains egg

Some vegan options but very pricey - Edit
I like the taste of Grill'd chips and used to enjoy their field of dreams burger when I was a vegetarian (not sure if that one is vegan) but I haven't eaten there for a long while because it is so expensive. Since becoming vegan I have only eaten there once to try the vegan burger and it cost $20 just for a burger and small chips, which to me, is too much.

Good for whole family - Edit
Limited veg options and one vegan burger. Quite good though quite salty! A great option if you have friends or family that aren't vegan.

Dicey - Edit
Staff tend to have excellent knowledge regarding what options are vegan (none of the burgers are vegan by default).
Read moreThe burgers are small and pricey. I have eaten burgers from here 3 times, two of those times have had issues with cross contamination (mayo in burger and mayo in the avocado tub).
Chip are better than the majority of other businesses.
