Not bad, not great

I am always happy to see a vegetarian/vegan menu, the food was decent but not wow. I liked the decor and music, my spouse didn’t like it so we won’t go back. I don’t care enough about the food to fight him in it but otherwise I wouldn’t mind going again.

Ripoff & worse than taco bell

My wife had the vegan burrito & I had the vegan chimichanga. They were identical, except the chimi was served sitting in green sauce and only contained plain Asian style white rice and black beans, that's it. Boring and beyond just basic. Aren't chimichangas supposed to be fried burritos? It wasn't. The burrito atleast came with red onions chopped tomatoes, but no Pico De Gallo. Overpriced and unsatisfyingly boring food. Highly unrecommended.

Nice, family-owned place

So, yeah, there’s that. Also, everything on the mini vegan menu is solid, especially the Vegan Burrito and Vegan Chimichanga. Nice portions and not too expensive. There are no vegan restaurants in my town, so this became our regular Friday-night place (pre-pandemic).

Pros: Several non-processed vegan options.

Cons: Lots of styrofoam containers. It’s not 1979!

Not sure what the other reviewers ate, but... this was GREAT.

I really don’t know what the previous reviewers were eating, but either the menu has changed, they were too harsh, or they were eating the wrong things. We started with the yucca fries, and they were fantastic. Not greasy. Warm salads is MAGICAL. I cannot stress this enough. I had the stuffed eggplant with salsa verde. There was plenty of food. Eggplant stuffed with cactus was truly amazing. The yellow rice was great, and the refried beans had flavor and weren’t watery. There was a salad topped with pico and black beans. I can’t speak for my husband as he had the pork mole, but he was happy with it. The chips and salsa were clearly house made and not generic. We were traveling - but if I were ever in the area again, I’d happily go back.

Pros: An entire vegan menu, Creative food - cactus instead of meat , The warm salsa is magical

Cons: A bit pricey.

Boring

If you are into rice and beans only than this is a place for you. If you like colorful veggies and good seasoning, I suggest you skip this place

Pros: Some vegan options

Cons: Boring, Uninspiring , Lock of variety

Uninspiring vegan menu

Took a few veg friends there and had tacos, burrito and wrap. Bother the burrito and wrap weren’t very big, mostly wrap and not real options for fillings outside of boring rice and beans. Tacos were a better deal bit still not much on flavor. Spiced potatoes, plant meat, tofu and many other things would be nice to see on the vegan menu. Kudos for having a vegan menu at lease. Also no vegan cheese.
Forgot we also had guacamole, seemed too much like what you get from the pre-made in a bag.

Pros: Vegan menu

Cons: Small portion, Limited vegan add ins

No processed substitutes

We were visiting in NJ and delighted to find a place with clearly labeled vegan options. The food was delicious, in large portions, and priced well. I liked that their vegan options didn't include any processed substitutes.

Pros: A handful of inexpensive vegan options, Friendly staff, Available parking
