The food is allright. - Edit

A couple of remarks.
There's a hippy dippy colorfull atmosphere. Wich is not exactly bad persé, and plenty of people like this sort of stuff, but to me it comes across as severely outdated.

Same goes for the menu. It's nice, but it doesn't really excite me or make me go "yesss! I need to try this one out". It was innovative 10 years ago.

I had a jalapeño burger last time(I love burgers and get them whenever I can), and honestly, I've had better veggie burgers at some of those gourmet burger joints. The toppings where great, granted, but the patty was very meh and came across as undercooked.

The girl behind the counter was quite friendly, but the guy who brought the food mentioned that if I wanted to get any hot sauce, I was free to grab some myself in the back. I was alone, so this meant leaving my stuff unguarded, plus there were almost no other guests and he was chatting with the girl, so even though that was not his job perhaps, I thought this was at least a bit inconsiderate.

This might come across as a bit harch, but I didn't dislike my experience. It was perfectly fine. I just wouldn't go there again, seeing I can get other things nearby that are better then fine at a better price. And that's a bit of a shame, I would have loved it to be excellent... :-(

Pros: Lot's of choice for both vegetarians and vegans., Food is just fine.

Cons: Prices a bit steep for just fine.

Vegan fast food - Edit

Finally a decent place in Antwerp to grab some vegan burgers! They offer burgers, wraps or mains like spaghetti, curry, ... and some specials on the board. I think it's good value for money and the portions are rather sizeable.

Pros: Many vegan options, Nice modern interior, Friendly staff

Cons: It closes too early to get a midnight snack :)

Waste of time and money. - Edit

I ordered the lasagna, and my boyfriend ordered the Korean pulled sandwich. The food took over 45 minutes to come out, buy which time we were starving. The lasagna was a VERY small serving - only six mouthfuls - and cost me €13! I don't know how they can call it a main meal. If it came with a side of chips it may have been OK. Bread used for the sandwich was rock hard, and impossible to eat. Everything was cooked fresh with fresh ingredients, but we both had to go and get a real meal elsewhere. They also refused to serve tap water, charging €3 for a tiny little bottle.

Cons: Tiny servings for the price.

Nice food, outside a mess - Edit

Visited late one evening and it had obviously been popular during the day as the tables were messy and not cleared up. This was a little off-putting but we found a table in the open window and the place was nice and bright.

I had a Vegan Kebab Wrap which came with salad which was tasty, and followed it up with some black forest gateaux which was a bit of a novelty. All in all not bad.

Pros: Nice location, Tasty Food

Cons: Not great value, Tables outside hadn't been cleared

Ok food, bit pricey - Edit

I visited Greenway a couple of months ago and had a vegan wrap which was nice but not spectacular. I cant remember the name of the white sauce they served it with but it tasted good. The wrap came with a basic salad but as a person said before me, small & pricey portions. I also tried the vegan carrot cake but I've had carrot cakes before which were much better, and less expensive.

Nice - Edit

The food was good and menu was quite extensive, but the food was a bit pricy for the amount that you get.

Pros: Friendly staff, Tasted good, Quite some choices

Cons: Bit pricy, The portion were a bit small

Okay - Edit

I used to go to Greenway in Ghent, so I was really thrilled to find out it was coming to Antwerp!

I like the food, but it could use a bit more variation. Also some stuff is a little expensive in my opinion.

But all in all it's a nice place :)

Pros: Vegetarian fastfood

Cons: Not much variation in the dishes, A little expensive

Amazing food! - Edit

Me and my boyfriend visited Green Way on a day out in Antwerpen. I had the vegan kebab wrap and it was the most amazing wrap I've ever eaten! My boyfriend had the (non-vegan) cheese burger, which he was also happy with. The portions were very big, we agreed that we could have shared my wrap. Since we were so full we decided to go back later that day and get the dessert. I got the vegan brownie in a to-go pack, and it was amazing!

Me and my boyfriend had never been to a vegan-option resturant together so in the two years we had been dating this was the first time we got to go on a real "lunch-date". And my boyfriend proposed to me later that day. Green Way was for us a perfect place to have eaten on before that! We can only wish Green Way comes to the Netherlands one day!

Pros: Amazing food!, English speaking staff, Central location

Amazing meal - Edit

Such a friendly restaurant in a great central location on the square. Good choices for vegans, i had the kebab wrap with salad which was divine. You get help yourself homemade vegan dressing. The waiter saw how much we were enjoying our meal and gave us free daily soup to try and a selection of 3 vegan dips! I recomend the vegan mango or raspberry lassi and various fresh juices. We still made room for the best vegan brownie and a yummy vegan carrot cake. The guy who served us also gave us 4 vouchers for free vegan brownie if we went into the Greenway restaurant in Gent later on in our Belgium holiday! Amazing place, i highly recommend:)

Pros: Lovely wraps and burgers, Great vegan brownie, Really friendly staff

Cons:

great vegetarian/vegan fast food - Edit

Visited Greenway with a friend who is vegetarian and I am vegan. We were both impressed with the food we chose. The decor is lovely too. Inexpensive and gluten free options available. I'll definitely return.

Pros: great menu, good food

Decent Food, Central Location - Edit

We were fed up with most of our ideal veggie targets being temporarily closed and stumbled across Green Way. It was 100% vegetarian with several vegan options too, conveniently located on one of the city's main squares. Our server was kind and prompt although her English was not the best. The BBQ seitan and salad I ordered were enjoyable but my gf was underwhelmed by the jalapeno burger. The prices were fair considering the location. It is convenient if you're hungry and in the area.

Pros: Vegan options, Convenient location

Healthy (vegan) Food - Edit

You can find the Green Way in the center of Antwerpen, near Groenplats. The restaurant looks really modern and comfy. No cash.
I ordered a vegan burger, it was called something like Mexican Burger with Jalapeño cream. Spicy, as the name says, but really good. Not sure if this is the only place in Antwerpen, where you can get vegan burgers – but at least the only one I found.
As dessert I had a really chocolaty brownie, super good. Maybe the best brownie I ate, super fluffy and delicious.
My friend had the Thai Curry. A huge portion with too much rice. The sauce was good, but contained something we could not identify. Maybe it was soy meat, maybe it was artichoke – we could not identify just by taste.
And as suggestion for the restaurant itself: Smaller portions (especially for the curry) for less money, would be better, at least in my opinion.

Pros: huge portion, vegan burger, comfy and modern atmosphere

Cons: huge portion, price moderate

define fresh - Edit

just popped in to this newly opened cafe
i was looking for some fresh juice
i asked for fresh juice and was directed to a fridge filled will little bottles, not fresh as i define it, this is just mass produced stuff, not what I would define as fresh
no juice is made or pressed there
you get a bigger selection at a non veggie café and the juice they do sell, is in tiny bottles.

Pros: it exists

Cons: drinks selection
