We had a wonderful delicious dinner. I started with Creamy Gold, a creamy mango carrot soup. The soup was so good 😋, it felt I could get addicted to it. I then had the udon noodles (Monk Bowl) as a main course which for simply delicious! My wife took three small bowls including the dumplings and she enjoyed her food a lot too!

Sehr große vegane Auswahl und super super leckeres Essen :3 - Edit
Die Auswahl der Gerichte ist echt super, es gibt sowohl große Hauptgerichte als auch sehr viele kleine "Bowls", von denen man super mehrere nach Belieben kombinieren oder auch als Vorspeise bestellen kann. Das Essen war durchweg verdammt lecker und auch die Desserts haben sich gelohnt. Selbst die Getränke sind prima, zudem war die Bedienung nett, man konnte dort gut sitzen und wurde schnell bedient. Für alle die in Hamburg asiatisch essen gehen möchten - this is it! :3

We had dinner with friends so got to see and try multiple dishes.
Read moreThe atmosphere is relaxed, the decor is very pretty with a lot of detail, even the bathrooms are beautiful.
The staff is extremely friendly.
The big plates are truly big and filling, the bowls are quite small, more like a side dish.
The food was delicious and all dishes were fresh and full of flavour.
The restaurant is open every day, even on Sundays where most German shops are closed.
The location is super convenient, just behind the town hall.
We will definitely return and try more dishes.

Read moreBUT: the concept reminds me of nearly every other vegan Vietnamese/Asian Restaurant in Hamburg. It fells interchangebal to "An vegan house", "Ta vegan house" or "Bao Bao". I don't know if they all have the same CEO, but the menue feels pretty much the same (food and drinks) and the dishes look quite similar.
Again, the food tastes good at Greentabel, but it feels like any other vegan Asian restaurant

My friend and I got several side dishes and shared them between the two of us. I LOVE the vegan Vietnamese kitchen and Greentable did NOT disappoint! It was very delicious and also the waiters were super nice and friendly. I definitely would recommend! Also, I know maybe that’s weird but the Toilette room smelled nice lol they used something citrusy haha

I went to Hamburg the other week for a couple of days and crossed this absolutely stunning restaurant near the Hamburg Rathaus. It was so good that I visited twice during my stay to taste as many dishes as possible.

I came here for lunch and ordered 3 different small bowls for 5,5 € each (Fishy sticks, Fries Avocado and Crunchy roll). Everything was okay, but a bit fatty. I liked the "fried" avocado most. The crunchy roll is big so a bit tricky to eat with chopsticks. They do have a separate lunch menu, however the prices were the same as for the regular menu. The restaurant itself is spacious and nicely decorated.

Wirklich schönes und gemütliches Restaurant, welches für die Nähe zur Innenstadt sowie dem Rathaus faire Preise und gute Portionsgrößen hat. Das Essen ist super abgeschmeckt und bietet eine Vielfalt an Aromen, die Gewürze sind gut gewählt und bieten einem ein kleines, aber feines, Geschmackserlebnis. Die Bedingung ist super freundlich, wirkt aufgeweckt und ist auf die Zufriedenheit des Kunden aus. Ich kann das Restaurant sehr weiterempfehlen, auch für Leute die Skeptisch gegenüber der asiatischen Küche sind. Gerne wieder!

Good Vietnam fusion cuisine - Edit
This place is all vegan and offers Vietnamese based fusion cuisine. Accordingly, you can choose between smaller sides and larger bowls, which are presented in an understandable manner on the menu card. We both had a large and a small dish each, and left stuffed. I had crispy rolls first, these were excellent. The soup my wife had was good, lacked a bit of spice though, same with my noodle 'monk' bowl. Being a vegan cook myself, I suppose they don't want to excel with spice kicks aiming at the 'average' German tongue (sorry for my stereotyping here).
Read moreI'm still rating this place overall 4.5, rounds up to 5 because of the beautiful interior, the cozy atmosphere and our super-waiter, being very professional, nice and attentive all the way. This guy had about 50 customers in the end and did not show any sign of stress. Maybe they should stock up their staff? Anyway, I think I'll come again.

I went here for dinner with a friend on a Thursday. There was indoor seating for about 50-60 people and the restaurant got completely full while we were there.
Read moreI liked the interior design. The most prominent thing was a wooden roof shaped like a hut covering the ceiling.
In the menu there were 8 large dishes, 20 small bowls to share, and 3 desserts. My friend and I shared five bowls:
#5 Golden Pockets
#7 Klassischer Wok
#12 Meat Balls
#16 Little Island
#20 Nem Hanoi
Everything except the Meat Balls tasted great. My favorites were the Golden Pockets and Nem Hanoi. The Meat Balls were disappointing because there weren't any meat balls. It was 90% green beans and then some rectangular-shaped fake meat. It tasted alright but it was not what I had expected nor wanted.
I think five bowls was not really enough food for the two of us. It's more fun with small bowls but you most likely get more food for your buck if you buy large dishes.
All-in-all I enjoyed my visit at Greentable. I'd be happy to go back with a larger group and get a bigger selection of the small bowls (and avoid the "meat balls").

The Monk Bowl is a generous, filling bowl of noodles , tofu and all kinds of vegetables in a delicate sauce. The Sushi Chay was great, but too small for one person even with a small appetite! If you’re not hungry enough for a large main dish, then you should order two of the small ones.
