Slow service and average food. - Edit
Took over an hour to serve a salad and a wrap. Food portions were good but food didn't warrant the wait.

We had a mixture of dishes and I had the smoked tofu blt, which was made on food as they have home made focaccia.great bread make great food for me. I had a slice of carror cake for desert which was soft and moist, delish.

Lovely helpful staff - Edit
Relaxed cafe with a welcoming atmosphere. The menu offers a good proportion of vegan options, though personally I felt these were quite heavily bread and hummus based - not so much variety. There are also changing dishes on the specials board, which I opted for on my visit, a lentil-based curry that day. The staff informed me apologetically that they had just served their last portion, but they were so lovely and helpful, offering to serve a very similar dish with the ingredients they had available. This was much appreciated, and the curry was really tasty.

Good food - Edit
Visited here with omnivore friends for my birthday! I had the carrot and sweet corn fritters to start which were lovely, I wasn’t as keen on the tahini dipping sauce. For mains I had the aubergine katsu curry which was very tasty! The aubergines were fried in breadcrumbs and were delicious. For dessert I had the chocolate marble torte with soya cream. It was good! I didn’t realise it was BYOB, not an issue for me but my friends like a wine with their meal - no issue though my friend was able to get a bottle of wine from the local shop, advised by the staff. To drink, I had a vanilla chai latte which was ok! The staff were nice. Parked round the corner which was free after 6.

Great vegan food - Edit
Visited here for an evening meal and again the following day for lunch - loved both visits! Enjoyed the veatballs, and particularly loved the smoked tofu sandwich for lunch. Oh also the chocolate fudge cake was gorgeous. Everything feels very considered - not your standard go-to dishes that you often come across when eating veggie/vegan.

Love this beautiful cafe - Edit
This is a gem of a cafe. Wonderful menu that never fails to make me smile inside. The mezze was sensational. Fresh, colourful and vibrant tastes - falafels, hummus, olives, tahini dip and three mouthwatering salads and a pile of flatbreads. My husband had a banana and cinnamon almond milkshake which was really good too. Great value for money and friendly service. Plus, its dog friendly too. What's not to like?!

Great food/prices, shame about bone china :( - Edit
Enough vegan options, tasty food, very reasonably priced. However, my tea was served in a cup/saucer made from bone china. I didn't request a different mug to avoid being awkward, but my partner and I really felt that serving bone china in a vegetarian/vegan establishment is odd.

Good friendly cafe - Edit
Greens is a nice veggie cafe that is very vegan friendly in the savoury dept (not so many vegan options amongst the sweets and cakes). The fresh juices are great and they use local and organic produce when possible.

Superb - Edit
This is a fabulous cafe during the day and a wonderful restaurant on Friday and Saturday nights. The food is mostly organic and freshly prepared. The cafe menu ranges from an excellent cappucino to a full lunch (make sure you leave room for a piece of cake!!) and the evening menu...well my husband who is not veggie said "when can we go back". It is also excellent value made even better as you can take your own wine. Great atmosphere - we are both looking forward to going back.

Good food - convivial - Edit
Lost of vegan options at this lovely place in a town with a very "alternative" vibe. Uses organic produce where possible and you can take your own wine. Soups, salads sandwiches and daily specials. On my visit I had a tapas plate - salad, soicy couscous, olives hummous, lemony/parsley pate and raw pumpkin seed pate with pitta bread. Desset was a lovely wholefoody apricot slice. Friendly owner.

Quaint veggie cafe - Edit
I have to thank my sister-in-law for telling me about this place, and we dropped in one lunchtime. The food is classic cafe fare: sandwiches, soups and breakfasts. We both went for the breakfasts - she for the veggie one; me for the vegan version, and we came out satisfied.
