Lunch menu on lock - Edit
So I've just finished the Mediterranean Olive ciabatta (?) and it was easily the best sandwich I've ever eaten. Coffee was great too and the staff were lovely and attentive

Lovely - Edit
Stumbled across this place wandering into Cardiff, had the hash brown and sausage ciabatta and it was gorgeous. The sweet pancakes my friend had were beautiful and the full breakfast was full of everything you miss as a vegan!

Vegan cawl 😋 - Edit
Popped in for a brunch and was excited to find they had freshly made cawl on as a special. The service and food were both excellent, and the issues since early reviewers mention seem to have been resolved. I would definitely visit again.
Read moreNote for cyclists: there are a couple of places outside where you can lock your bike and keep an eye on it through the windows. But it's a big enough place that could bring you bike in most times of day.
Pros: Everything is vegan, Food and service excellent, Safe cycle parking available
Cons: None that I could discern

Great for brunch - Edit
What a fun little find to begin our day in Cardiff! Open and inviting space with large windows (so lots of light!). The heating issue as discussed in previous reviews appears to have been fixed because we were toasty warm and heaters could be seen around. Our brunch was tasty and our coffee was perfect.

We went for breakfast - our first visit - and had the smashed avocado on sourdough - every mouthful was delicious. Lovely service and the menu looks great so we will be back very soon!

Disappointed - Edit
Stumbled upon this place, was surprised to see it open as I thought I’ve found all the vegan spots while living here in Cardiff.
Read moreAs soon as I walked in I could tell it was a restaurant still struggling to set up and find its way.
It is a very nice space, and has great potential but has heating issues so the space was very cold.
The staff were lovely. The menu LOOKED great. So my excitement ramped up.
I ordered the breakfast sandwich with hash-browns and sausage. Thinking it would be delicious.
I was wrong. As soon as I saw the plate I was reminded again, this is a place struggling to get on its feet.
It was inedible as a sandwich, so I ate it in parts, mushy hash browns, average veggie sausage, bland sauce. Completely uninspired for what should’ve been a fun adventurous sandwich.
I’ll give this place a 2nd chance as my wife and I love supporting small vegan businesses where we can, but as world travelers who’ve eaten at the best of the best vegan places in the world our standards are very high. Especially coming from Los Angeles where we have some of the most inspired vegan in the world.
I hope they can pull it together!

Bit disappointed - Edit
Nice decor, friendly staff, nice venue. Could be warmer though, but the thing that let them down was the main event; the food. I had a pizza which honestly was like a cheap microwave pizza like the ones you used to eat as a kid. Wasn't good at all. I ate it because I was starving and I wasn't present when my dish was collected. Probably wouldn't go again though.

Freezing! - Edit
Arranged to go for breakfast here with some non-vegans so was really hoping it would impress. However, it definitely needs improvement! It was freezing cold in there so definitely not the cosy breakfast atmosphere we were after on a cold November morning.
Read moreIn terms of the food - when ordering we were asked whether we wanted it all to come together (very odd question if you ask me) and of course said yes. It then didn’t come together at all.
One of us ordered pancakes which came first (on a cold plate to speed up the getting cold process while we waited for the other dishes...) and the cooked breakfasts all arrived after each other too with some items gone cold already.
The cooked breakfasts were nice - they use Linda sausages and brown bread.
The savory pancakes were not as described on the menu - where it states they come with maple syrup, bacon, and nuts. When it arrived they were covered in roasted peppers! And also missing the bananas that had been ordered with them. This was pointed out to the server who said something about the menu not including details of every ingredient, but quite frankly this is really a bit different. The cooked breakfasts didn’t come covered in undeclared roasted peppers!
They took it back but seemed unhappy about having to do this and then brought it back without peppers but also without the nuts which were meant to be on it.
Overall, although there are a lot of options (which is great) the execution/logistics needs some work. It was very quiet when we visited, so struggling to get the food out on time was quite surprising especially as they seemed well staffed. In addition, I would say it’s more of a place to visit in the summer unless you really aren’t looking for somewhere warm and cosy as it was absolutely freezing in there.
It’s a shame but I don’t feel I can recommend it as it is currently as I don’t feel confident you’d get what you asked for and because the temperature of both the place and the food was below par.
Pros: Lots of choices , Central, Nice coffee
Cons: Freezing inside , Food wasn’t very warm, Menu unclear

Perfect vegan breakfast in town - Edit
Running errands in town and needed a quick breakfast. Wanted to avoid the chain shops and found this place on happy cow. Had a delicious vegan croissant- the first I've had in ages! And a coffee. They have a huge menu including sweet and savory dishes, all 100% vegan! Highly recommend for a delicious and reasonable vegan meal in Cardiff.

Very convenient for city centre - Edit
Relaxed atmosphere in a light and airy space. Just off one of the main shopping streets in Cardiff. There are parking spaces almost outside but could be difficult to find if you don’t know the city. Pay and display and not many of them.
Read moreMore importantly the food. I had the three bean burrito with sweet potato fries and I would say that it was all excellent. A lot of flavour in the burrito and you could taste the sweet potato which is not always the case when turned into fries.
Some wonderful cheesecakes followed and the chocolate one was outstanding. Just the right balance of sweetness.
Good range of drinks on offer. Very friendly owners with some exciting plans for evening opening.
Pros: Great tasting food , Airy restaurant , Good range of options
Cons: Slightly on the dear side.

Good space - Edit
Greens Vegan just opened last week. Great space with alot of potential. I'd like to see more exciting and unique dishes.
Read moreI had the panini with cheese and meetballs and a sausage roll. They were ok. I'd prefer the meat balls with pasta though.
Nick & Jo the owners of Greens Vegan are just lovely & friendly. They offered tasters for new item bruschetta & are open to new suggestions.
They offer Afternoon teas & cheeze boards with artisan cheezes which need to be booked in advance. They also have a variety of milkshakes( with icecream!), smoothies, icecream & hotdrinks.
They try & source local products for their food.
Pros: 100% Vegan , Friendly staff
