Thirty-foot ceiling, contemporary paintings, and redwood sculptures decorate the interior. International menu with choices like avocado sushi rolls, tofu skewers, curry, polenta, chocolate mousse, and sorbet desserts. Also operates Greens-To-Go take away counter. Open Tue-Fri 11:30am-2:30pm, Tue-Thu 5:30pm-9:00pm, Fri-Sun 5:00pm-9:00pm, Sat-Sun 10:30am-2:30pm.

Went for lunch, the restaurant is just beautiful, great view by the port and great atmosphere! We had the spring rolls (were ok), the pappardelle (they offer vegan option) were delicious but the curry was the best! Super creamy and tasty . We had a vegan cardamon cake.. it was soso .

Read moreWhen we were there they left the door open and it was freezing. First, they gave us a table close to the door, but we couldn't sit there because it was too cold. When we asked, they immediately gave us a new table. Many people in the restaurant wore jackets so we think we were not the only one freezing.

Ok, it truly was a wonderful meal. It seems like the value of the restaurant is in three things: the fancy wood pieces, the view (void at night), and it’s legacy being masterful presenting vegetable centric dishes. And the dishes we had—jambalaya and Thai middle curry—were great.
Read moreI sense there’s a lot of purity here. There’s def no mock meats, which is fine. But they seem to believe that the only way to make dairy products is with cows milk. I wish they would explore the limits of their culinary talents to make plant based cheeses and butters. Their knowledge of vegan friendly dishes was abhorrent—possibly related to staffing challenges. They totally messed up one dish and graciously comped it. I’m glad to have experienced this historic spot and am grateful for all it has contributed to the veg movement.

I always bring omnivores here, the view is amazing and it’s one of the fancier vegan-friendly restaurants around. The vegetarian options are great and the vegan options are usually good too, the menu changes but most recently I got a pasta dish. Make sure to specify the vegan option, they gave me a nut-based cream sauce instead of dairy, it was excellent! The green tea was delicious too. One vegan options for dessert, a cardamom cake with sorbet. Very tasty frosting!

This restaurant has a beautiful view of the bay. The cornbread was delicious and moist, with a good amount of sweetness. However they do not have vegan butter so instead served it with olive oil. I also had the sweet corn Jonny cakes, which were delicious. We finished the meal with the cardamom cake with peaches and peach saffron sorbet, which was surprisingly tasty. Overall a great, and pricey, experience.

I have gone to this restaurant several times, and although it’s a bit of a splurge, I think it’s totally worth it as this place has showed me flavors I didn’t even know existed! If you’re lucky you might also be seated with a view over the Golden Gate Bridge which is always lovely.

Had a wonderful dinner here, reservations were easy to make and service was fast and helpful. The food was delicious! I would recommend getting one of each course and having a wine pairing with at least your entree. The restaurant is beautiful and has a great view. Every dish on the main menu could be made vegan with little compromise in taste. The dessert menu had 3/6 vegan options.

Very cool vegetarian restaurant in the Fort Mason area with a nice view of the SF east marina. Although their menu doesn't have anything labeled as vegan, when we asked the server, she rifled off about 8 dishes that could be made vegan, mainly by removing cheese and adding tofu. The vegan options were great, I recommend the Shashouka. Beware though, the dishes are a tad on the small side, and they are expensive.

I've been here several times and this porcini rositi is my least favorite dish I've had. It's ok, but I've had much better here. The service is great as always though and they were super fast. Make a reservation beforehand though! UPDATE: Wrote the review and was chatting with the server afterwards. I was discussing the dish with her and she could tell I was disappointed, so she offered me a salad on the house that she swears I'll love. The service here is really awesome, they aim to please for sure! On a side note, try to come during the day so that you can see the great view of the water!

Wow the asthteics of this place where gorgeous. Like a 1950s classic décoré with a sophisticated modern Japanese touch. The food was absolutely delicious and so was the presentation. you will love this place if your looking to go on a date or with group of friends. It's nostalgic gorgeous and great view of the GGB.
