Definitely Worth 5 Stars! - Edit
I had lunch here on July 18, 2024. My friend had the Garden Beet Salad and I had the Buddha Bowl. Of course we sampled each other's meal and agreed that both were delicious. I loved the diversity of flavors in the Buddha bowl as well as the crisp and flavorful chunks of tofu in it.
Read morePleasant surroundings and friendly service made for an excellent meal. I'd definitely recommend Greens and Company and hope to find myself there again in the future.

Fully vegan place serving wholesome meals 💚 - Edit
After two weeks in Ireland spent with very few fully vegan options, we were very happy to visit Greens & Co. As the only fully vegan place in Galway, deciding to eat here was an easy decision 😄 thankfully it didn’t disappoint!
Read moreThe meals were really tasty and the portion sizes were great and very filling. We had soup, a smoked bean potato dish and a pasta from the specials board.
Unfortunately we didn’t realise it closes at 5.30pm, as the website wording is confusing and says ‘ordering hours’ rather than opening hours so we had to eat in a rush. Thankfully staff were accommodating of this, however it would have been nicer to have had more time to enjoy the meals. So make sure to arrive in plenty of time before closing at 5.30pm!

Underwhelmed, but grateful - Edit
It was great to find a fully vegan spot in Galway, but we weren't blown away by the food.
Read moreThe pancakes were good and fluffy, but the sauces weren't nearly as decadent as expected, so the flavor was somewhat muted. It's not a bad dish. Just don't expect a super sweet dessert-like dish.
The Reuben was disappointing. It was served on a white, airy bread rather than a denser rye or marbled bread, and seemed generally low on flavor -- there didn't seem to be enough kraut or sauce, and the fake meat was a bit dry and, while good, didn't have a flavor that could make up for the lack of sauces.
I didn't have the vish burger, but it sounded like it was just OK.

Pros: Fully vegan, Lots of options, Cappuccino
Cons: Sauces needed more flavor, Reuben bread

Muy rico - Edit
Que suerte de encontrar un sitio así en Galway, tenía mucha variedad en la carta pero lo mejor la variedad en los postres, no sabias por donde empezar. Estaba todo buenísimo, y con raciones muy generosas!

Very good vegan nosh. - Edit
Quite a few tempting items on the menu. I opted for the Vegan Philly which was a hefty portion. Great chips. Good flavoursome sandwich. Free parking on the street outside.

I had the vegan Philly the day before you and it was divine!
Read moreBut watch out, street parking isn't free, it's pay&display, the meter is about 20 metres from Greens on the same side. Not expensive though and you are very close to the centre.

Yeah pretty good, support your vegan restaurants! - Edit
Solid food, nothing to knock my socks off, but very good. I had the Reuben sandwich which paled in comparison to the Reuben from "It's a Trap" in Dublin - still a good sandwich, but needed more pickled flavour, and perhaps sliced meat rather than a mashy patty. The potato and beans meal was good, not great or excellent. Didn't try the sweets but they look amazing.

Tasty meal, big serves! - Edit
We ordered the veuben and vish burger which came with a delicious side salad topped with pumpkin seeds and edamame. The burger also came with chips (worth the €16 as it was a large serving!) The desserts are very tasty too (a little on the small side though) and they offer a good variety of them. They do a decent hot chocolate with added marshmallows and cream. I wouldn't recommend the blue matcha though. It literally tastes like nothing but oat milk that's blue.

Sad that there was no flavor to this gorgeous drink. I think I would have asked for more match or for them to make it stronger 😅

I wonder what it was supposed to taste like because it was quite blue. I probably should have said something though!

They probably used butterfly pea powder or something and were afraid using too much matcha would change the color. 😋 probably shouldn’t call it matcha then though.

I looked it up online and there is no such thing as blue matcha -- it was likely butterfly pea powder like you said!

Very comfortable all vegan cafe, big menu with lots of gluten free options as well. The food was delicious and portions were large. Coffee was good as well! Only drawback was that everyone’s food was ready at quite different times.

Salty Veuben and expensive - Edit
We went 2 days there.
Read more1st day was amazing, I ordered the Buddah bowl and my hubby the Vish Burger - both very delicious!!!
The problem was the drinks, cuz on the menu there are "squeezed lemonade" and "squeezed orange juice" and we thought that both were fresh pressed juices, but they weren't.
Also ordered cookies and brownie. The cookies were delicious, but the brownie too dry.
2nd day ordered the Veuben Sandwich and Vegan Philly, without drinks.
The Veuben was way too salty, impossible to eat. But we ate it anyway. Why? We really hate food waste.
The vegan Philly was good, but don't think it is worth 16€.
Everyone was drinking the same tap water with some herbs but us - they didn't offer that to us.
Also didn't want to order any dessert cuz didn't wanna waste money and food.
I was waiting to eat vegan fish and chips, what didn't happen - they change the menu often. Asked for it on the first day, they have the vish for the Vish Burger and they have tons of chips, but they couldn't do any exception.
Their chips are really amazing, as the Buddah bowl with fresh ingredients. Only those were really worthy.

Cons: No Vish and chips and no fresh pressed juices , Dry brownie, Expensive

Should they make exceptions for everyone or just you? Order the vish burger and extra fries, take the bun off and voila, you have your fish and chips.

Oh yeah sure, paying for 2 dishes and wasting food, very reasonable. Do you work there and/or just don't know how to handle critics? 🙃

So many options, all of it was delicious! Got 2 hot chocolates, the Philly, chocolate pancakes, and the creamy mushroom toast. All of it was great, I think my favorite was the mushroom toast. I’ll be dreaming of it forever.

Only fully vegan restaurant in Galway city - Edit
I saw that this was the only fully vegan restaurant in Galway city and I knew I had to try it/support it on my visit. I had a delicious lunch, hot chocolate and cake in this very cosy spot warm and dry from the lashing rain outside.
Read moreI love to see a place like this, especially as locally for me in Cork city the only two fully vegan places are both food stalls and not their own premises. Would whole heartedly recommend.
Only thing to advise would be that it was full when my friend and I came for what I consider to be late lunch at 2:30, so you might be waiting for a table, but it's worth it!
Pros: Fully vegan - only one in Galway city, Lovely interior , Friendly staff

Cons: Expensive drinks
