Good vegan options, but can be a little pricey. - Edit
Ordered the vegan cheese plate and it was so good! It had just one type of vegan cheese I think, but was really tasty. I always think hummus and cheese plates can use more bread though.

The place is nice and they have plenty of vegan options but the portions are very small and overall I found the food to be quite bland and expensive. It’s not bad but I wouldn’t go back.

Es ist eher ein unscheinbares Restaurant aber mit einer grossen Auswahl an veganen Gerichten - wenn auch nicht typisch thailändisch! Die Preise sind ok - die Portionen variieren je nach Gericht. Leider waren viele Produkte ausverkauft oder nicht vorhanden, so dass ich 2 Mal die Bestellung ändern musste. Aber sonst gut.

Tried the vegan cheese platter and a curry and they were so delicious and fresh. I did feel like the cheese platter could be bigger for the price but I’m happily stuffed from the two dishes and can’t wait to come back to try their breakfast options another day.

It’s a nice place for vegan food in the Bophut area. The food is tasty and the staff friendly. Depending on how hungry you are you may order two dishes. And that would make it a rather expensive dinner/lunch.

It's hard to beat Thai food in Thailand, right? Well, mostly yes. But for vegans in a touristy area like Bophut the options are rather narrow and can be disappointing. This cafe offers great options. Local & international interpretations using fresh ingredients with an emphasis on healthfull combinations. Wanted to like it so much that after a bitterly disappointing (and overpriced) dinner, visited again for breakfast. The later experience was significantly better in execution. The tofu scramble had original local herby additions and the sweet toast was rich & satisfying. The juices were very good.

I had a cappuccino, eggs on toast, and truffle bliss ball for breakfast. Everything was very delicious! Wide range of healthy food but the price can add up quickly. I look forward to coming back and trying more dishes.

Even though this is not a fully vegan or even veg restaurant, most items seem to be vegan. There are also plenty of raw vegan dishes. The menu is huge, and the ones that do contain fish or dairy are outnumbered by vegan dishes. Although the dishes taste pretty good, the portions are pretty small for the money that you pay. The restaurant's highlight is the Snickers bar which was actually divine and the only thing I tried that was actually good value for money.

Really delicious vegan food, but this place is definitely for those healthy vegans. The food was quite good but not as filling as we would have liked. We had the pesto rolls, tofu scramble, and the chocolate smoothie bowls. The smoothie bowls were our favourite, although you have to pay for every topping so it can be a little pricey. But worth it! The coconut espresso frap is so tasty and creamy!

Read moreThe ingredients are not listed in the menu, we have to be very selective in products due to food intolerance, but it is impossible to find out exactly what is included in the dish. The staff answers these questions reluctantly or does not answer at all, it seems that they are afraid that we will steal their exclusive recipes :)
Since the beverage menu is not clearly written, at some times they didn’t take extra money to replace cow's milk with almond milk, at some times they added at the bill 30 baht separately for this.
They had some kind of trouble with the staff, not a single visit was complete without errors, although the order was always announced clearly. Several times, instead of yeast-free bread, they brought us pita. They may forget to bring the sauce to the some bowl or bring "falafel plate" instead of "hummus plate" etc.
Each time, the hostility of the staff was unpleasantly surprised. It seems that we are not guests but some enemies. Nowhere else in the Country of Smiles have we seen this. We were here 4-5 times a month, each time hoping that everything that was happening was some kind of ridiculous accident, today our patience is over.
Today we were served by a waiter who absolutely did not know the menu and even wrote in English very slowly and in syllables. We even had to help him write the order (!!!) on the form and, as a result, still resolve issues with other employees. So, in the order it was clearly written "Banana Pancakes Kids 1." We were first brought 2 servings instead of one. Then, the pancakes were counted not from the children's menu, but from an adult, which are twice as expensive. They explained this "By the fact that they made a mistake in the kitchen and they prepared an adult for you". We were offered to pay for the staff error, can you imagine this?
You can understand such cases when they are single, but when instead of resting and enjoying food you are constantly forced to resolve issues and find out something ... I could even pay for these double pancakes if they would come up to me and explain everything normally, apologize. It's not about the money, but about the disregard for the guests.
Fortunately, there are many vegetarian and vegan food restaraunts in Samui, where it is also tasty, the prices are lower and they are always glad to see you. That is why, I will not recommend the Green Light.

Really enjoyed the breakfast options here. The smoothies are thick and fantastic and the Avocado Toast is to die for (definitely get the side of vegan feta cheese to go with it). I had dinner here once and it was okay. Both the salad and the pizza I ordered were a little too sweet for my liking. Also had the brown rice paper rolls which were excellent.

Good options for vegans, good selection of juices and smoothies but the drink sizes are half the size of what other vegan restaurants are and they're more money but the portions are big and filling and very tasty

Was hoping for a nice vegan treat, instead served cold food and poor service. Ordered the falafel plate (240bt), it came out cold. When asked to reheat, got back dry, crumbly falafel “muffins.” The tahini and hummus were boring and tasteless, came with a few veggie sticks, and seemed like all the food was prepared the day before... maybe days before.
