Pricey, tasty salads - Edit
Greenhouse offers salads, smoothies, and sandwiches. We ordered the summer salad and a build your own. The base price for each is $14, and you can add a protein like chickpea fritters or a couple kinds of tofu for $4. While tasty, $18 for a to-go salad (same caliber as sweetgreen or Chop't) seemed wildly overpriced.

Nice sandwich, missing ingredient - Edit
Let me preface this by saying I visited from LA, so I have high standards lol. I got the tofu banh mi from Greenhouse; the tofu was breaded/fried which isn’t my preference but it was tasty. They took out the spicy peppers, which I appreciate, but also forgot to include any cilantro which would have added a nice fresh touch. I’d give them another try, but probably their mushroom sandwich.

Nice surprise on visit to Birmingham - Edit
Just flew in and looking for a lunch spot. Glad I found this place. Food tasted good and was pretty busy for a Tuesday. Banh mi was made vegan with spicy tofu, and they had other options on the menu.

i’ve eaten here a couple of times and usually order the pretty good #1 salad or the vegan banh green sandwich (sometimes the half-salad and half-sandwich together, if i’m feeling crazy). this is a tasty lunch & dinner option for plant-based eaters! the staff is great, prices are reasonable, and the food is ready quickly.

The vegan mushroom soup was really creamy and flavorful. Rich vegan grilled cheese and delicious veggie filled tofu salad bowl. I like a lot of veggies, so a salad with tofu can get a little pricey.
