I took my niece here for a quick lunch. We had the mush love Benny and the avocado baby. Both were really nice. Also had a chai latte and latte on oat milk

The food was lovely however small servings. I ordered the Garlic Butter Mushroom which says comes with greens, the greens were half a handful of raw spinach and a garnish.

Friendly service, good coffee and tasty food, presented with flair. Caloundra is not especially vegan friendly but this little place has been my go-to for vegan brekky or lunch for some years now. Well worth supporting in this traditional, meat-loving town😄

Ordered the avo toast and there were no ‘greens’ and look nothing like the image. The toast did not seem like sourdough. Also ordered the nachos and they forgot the avocado. Pretty disappointed.

Beautiful little place with some great vegan choices. We have enjoyed vegan pies and rolls as well as the burrito, all have been tasty and flavourful whilst being healthy too.

Recently had lunch with my mother here after hearing a few recommendations from others. I was a little disappointed with the lack of vegan options but I was aware that it is mostly vegetarian establishment so that is just a personal gripe more than anything wrong with the cafe. I ordered the vegan nachos and a cold-pressed juice. The juice was beautiful and refreshing (I cannot remember which one I ordered) but the nachos were severely lacking in toppings, it needed more salsa or bean mix as it was quite dry but they were very generous with the avocado which was nice.
Read moreIt is easy to find, tucked into one of Caloundra’s alleyways, however, the foot traffic make it quite noisy. The staff were also very quiet and not the most helpful I have ever come across.
Overall, I didn’t love my experience but it was fine for a quick bite.
Pros: Aesthetically pleasing decor!, Good selection of juices and smoothies!, Generous avocado portions!
Cons: Noisy location, Small amount of vegan options, Staff were a bit quiet and standoffish

We had a spicy tofu burger, vegan bean nachos, and a kid's meal with basic avo toast, a juice popper, and some fruit and carrot sticks - happiness all round!! Nice to see a good vegan kids option since my little one hates all the frills on fancy avo toasts, and this was much cheaper too (about $8-9 for the kids meal set I think). I loved the nachos and only wished there was a thicker bit of tofu in the burger to make it a bit heartier. It was so so fresh and felt good for our bodies!

Top notch vego food with vegan options. Great service. Set in a small tree-lined laneway, it's a real stand-out for Caloundra. If you're on the coast and craving some awesomely good vego food, go no further.

Good vegan food walking distance from Bullcock Beach - Edit
I went to Greenhouse Cafe for breakfast with my family after, shall we say, a bit of a heavy night. I was looking for a big hearty breakfast, and as this was the only vegetarian (and vegan-friendly) cafe in town, and a short walk from where we were staying, it seemed like the obvious choice.
Read moreWe arrived just as they were opening, and were the first to be seated. There weren't too many vegan options on the menu, but there were a few that could be made vegan. I went with the vegan version of the Bits and Bobs. The server came out a couple of minutes later and asked what I would like the eggs to be replaced with, and I got tofu.
The food was delicious. The beans had a bit of heat; perfect for me, but they would have been too hot for anyone else at my table. The tofu was perfectly cooked, and it was topped with a divine cashew cheese.
Overall, I'd definitely recommend Greenhouse Cafe to anyone looking for a vegan meal in Caloundra. They were a bit pricier than I would normally want to pay, and I would like to see more vegan options on the menu, but the food and the service was excellent.
