Never Miss A Beet

Easily missed, this exceedingly deceptive and surprisingly spacious shop hosts both an impressive range of vegan items and a wonderfully friendly team of staff. Having carefully scrutinised the available sweet treats, I finally landed on purchasing a couple of intriguing-looking bars that lay upon the front counter. After an even longer, more agonising decision making process, I opted for the Lamington and the cheesecake base flavours. Once I finally got around to devouring them both, the latter was the far superior of the two. The Lamington wasn’t awful, though it didn’t exactly fill me with greatest of joys, but the cheesecake base more than made up for any shortfall in its counterpart. Also, just for the record, I did also have a flash of health consciousness, so I did purchase a couple of apples too; they were refreshingly crisp and gave a good indication as to the quality of produce on offer.
There were copious amounts of other products that I earmarked for a later date here, and I will definitely be back to try more and support this worthy business enterprise.

Local, fresh, familiar

Greenhearts organic feels more like a grocery shop than a supermarket, and that's what makes it so good.
Most of their products are very fresh, picked up that day from their farm in Sharjah (which you can also visit). Some selection of cereals, olive/coconut oils, ice creams but mostly fruits and vegetables.
The only eggs i buy in Dubai, i get it from them a the chickens live a happy life, in the farm. Truly cage free.
This is what i feel most sipermarkets should be like - small quantities, minimum waste, trying to get local products.
