Environmental charity serving a weekly pay-as-you-feel three course community meal. Meals are made by volunteers using surplus foods donated by supermarkets or individuals, acquired from FareShare or seasonal vegetables from the community garden. The set menu varies weekly depending on the supplies received. Operates under an ethical food policy: meat is never bought in and non-vegan products are only used when donated and would otherwise have gone to waste. Some of the staff and volunteers are vegan and all are knowledgeable about allergens & dietary requirements. Dietary requirements are also catered for on advance notice. Non-dairy milks available for tea/coffee. Dishes often include soups, stews, chilli, curry, roasted vegetables, pasta bakes, cakes, tarts, puddings and crumbles. Sittings at 4:30pm and 6pm. Open Wed 16:30-19:00. Closed Thu-Tue.

Delicious homecooked vegan food with a community focus - Edit
Greener Kirkcaldy runs a community meal every wednesday which you need to book in to via telephone or email. All the food is vegan and can be made gluten free on request.
Read moreWe started going regularly to the community meal and have loved getting a homecooked three course vegan meal each week. The meal changes weekly, but is always vegan.
We love getting to know new people each week and having chats with our community. The meal is also made from surplus produce, giving it bonus points for being environmentally minded.
On top of this, meals are donations based, meaning everyone is welcome. My favourite meal so far has to be the pulled mushroom tacos, more like this please!
