Amazing laksa and rice bento. Not the friendliest staff, not the nicest place but great food.

Pros: Great taste, Many vegan options

Cons: Confusing for first timer, Staff can be friendlier, Not a nice place

Lion mane rendang turmeric rice

One last time dining at this outlet before it close for good on 3 May 2022. The lion mane rendang turmeric rice is still as delicious as ever. The soup was a little salty and the cracker wasn’t as crispy. Overall still a delicious meal. It’s unfortunate that this outlet will close for good soon. Limited seating area.

Worst Service at Greendot

Could give one star if i could. Been to most greendot branches, received the worst service at this branch

Not bad for a fast food chain

Greendot is an option for a convenient bite when pressed for time. The buffet is largely vegan, though many items have dairy (including, unfortunately, the rendang). The greens here are tasty enough. The dumplings are vegan but not very good. The veggie bao is OK. Prices are reasonable, especially for the combos.

Delicious turmeric rice bento

Missed their rendang lion mane mushroom, so ended up at Greendot again, their turmeric basmati rice is lightly seasoned yet flavourful, goes well with the rendang lion mane. The mixed mushroom is delicious too, their eggplant is the "green" that i liked most.

I'm a laksa lover, for me Greendot laksa is good, but definitely not the best, as their laksa is not spicy at all, and the coconut milk is too thick, too milky for me.

Tried their National day special chilli crab (available till 12-9-2021), I've eaten the real chilli crab before I became a vegetarian, as I remembered chilli crab tastes sweet, spicy and salty, not sour. For Greendot's chilli crab, I would rather call it tom yam chilli crab or Thai Chilli Crab, it makes me think of Thailand and Thai food, it's good but too oily for me.

For the bento set, the rendang lion mane mushroom is great, sesame rice and other dishes are good as well.

Greendot outdid itself!

I had the All Handmade Specialty bowl ($10.90) with sesame rice ( $1.50), with a herbal broth and it was really good! I especially liked the herby taste of the soup that wasn’t overpowering. As for the handmade items, they were mushroom, beancurd and eggplant (all with filing). I think its definitely worth a try, and really a pity that only this outlet has this ‘nourish bowl’ concept.

Go for the lion mane and laksa!

As title suggested, these 2 items are highly recommended by many and they are really good!!! All the food are above average standard and the consistency is there hence you know what you are expecting every visit. This is important becos when i crave for something, I want it to be what i am expecting!

Lovely food at affordable prices

Love the variety of dishes here. You get to choose Asian and Western flavours (think mee pok, laksa and burgers).

Prices are mostly $7.90 - $20.

Pros: Many Asian and burger options, Reasonably priced

Cons: Not the greatest sitting area - loud

More than expected

You can choose your ingredients. My meal looked little when on the plate but it was more than I could eat.

Great

A range of asian and western food. All vegetarian/vegan. Vegan is clearly marked on the menu and food is explained in detail. You're able to choose you own flavours in the bento boxes and is very cheap considering.

Pros: Great food, Cheap, Quick service

Great bentos

Greendot has great bento boxes and the prices are very reasonable. I especially like the Lions mane mushroom rendang. The only reason I refrained from giving a five star review is because of a lack of variety.

Really good vegan food

I went with a group of people, mostly non-vegan, and everyone really liked their meals.

I had vegan Laksa, and it was delicious!

Although you order at the counter, a super-friendly staff person came up to us and insisted on bringing us a menu and explaining the choices, and making sure we all got vegan food we wanted.

Pros: really good vegan food, friendly

my favourite vegetarian restaurant

Unlike most vegetarian food in singapore, it doesn't have alot or mock meat.. instead it has alot of greens and tasted really really good. Portion is good and i find it quite reasonably price if compared to small eateries in the mall. staffs are always warm and full of smiles.

my favourite is their herbal soup and bento set.

Pros: tasted good even for non vegetarian , Portion is good, priced reasonably

Cons: no waiting space for takeaways, can get pretty busy and be prepared to queue

Noodles delight!

While many ppl are a fan of greendot vegetarian bento, I find that abit too expensive (rice 2 veggie 1 mock meat) at $7.90! But I must confess that I'm an avid fan of greendot's laksa and Angelica herbal noodles! Have brought many of my colleagues here and all of them are full of praises for their wholesome yummy noodles! Laksa is super shiok with a generous serving of beansprouts and konnyaku balls, always leaving me craving for more. And on cold rainy days, nothing is more comforting than a bowl of warm Angelica herbal noodles with my fave chewy monkeyhead mushroom! 👍

Pros: accessible! right next to bugis MRT

Cons: might get a little too crowded during lunch hours

Not bad

I've been to this Greendot many times since it is quite near my workplace.

My experience with this particular outlet hasn't been consistent. Sometimes the staff is fast and efficient and the food I received was really good.
There are also times where I had to wait because the staff were busy cleaning dishes, waiting for a new batch of dishes to come out of the kitchen, busy handling online delivery orders, or I had to simply wait because they ran out of vegan mains for the rice bento set.

The food is good, just like what I have experienced with other Greendot outlets. But the service I received ranged from terrible to not bad.

Strategic Location

Green Dot has been expanding quite aggressively these days, and I would personally have my meals there if there are no better options. It is recommended to try their Laksa and Bento if you have the chance.

Pros: Good Location, Reasonable Price

Laksa was good!

Laksa was worth the try. It didn't feel like it was even vegetarian. Very flavourful.

Pros: Laksa
