Good food at convenient location - Edit

Despite being on the main tourist street in Gdansk, this restaurant was surprisingly difficult to find. There were not really any proper sign outside, and we were surprised when we actually found it. The inside of the restaurant was quite small, but cozy. I don't know if we arrived just before closing time, but many of the dishes were sold out, and the staff wasn't particularly friendly.
The food we got was delicious, and the portions were generous for a good price. As one of the few veggie places in town, and it's convenient location, it is definitely worth a visit!

Pros: Large portion, Tasty food, Good price

Cons: Surprisingly difficult to find, Grumpy staff

delightful - Edit

Really large meals with a great mix of flavors. Most plates include three sides (usually salads or slaws), and are an excellent value considering the quality and size. In good weather, the outdoor seating on Dluga Street puts diners in the middle of a gorgeous panorama of the historic center. Love this place.

for the big hunger - Edit

the green-way-location is a classical place for good eating with very large portions in the very heart of the city and a outdoor seating at the main street of old Gdansk. traditional polish food and asian meals are mixed. but in the early evening only a part of the menu was available. the simply self-service-touch is not my favour in every sitution, the place is only for eating and not for staying.

Pros: large portions, fresh juice, good situated

Cons: a little dirty and noisy outside

Disappointing - Edit

After reading reviews we stopped here but were generally disappointed. Staff lacked service skills and though plenty of food it was almost thrown onto the plate.

Pros: Meal size, Low cost

Cons: Poor service, Untidy eating area

great place for hearrty veg food - Edit

Had lunch here last week. My partner had the soya cutlet which was quite nice and I had dumplings that were simply divine. Right on the main street in the old town. A couple of table outside as well for eating.

Pros: good value, lovely food

Generous vegan servings! - Edit

Greenway is excellent for three reasons - the food is delicious, the plates are piled high, and the price is affordable. The menu is clearly labelled between vegan and vegetarian, and the staff were happy to tell us what else was vegan, such as the apple cake which we had on several occasions. Each meal has a main - soya cutlets, enchiladas, soya goulash and vegetable samosas - often with a mushroom or tomato sauce, and then three large salad servings (grated carrot, white or purple cabbage, green salad), all of which is delicious, tasty and filling. There is a large drinks cabinet with some great juices, and some fun extras like lentil soup. We ate here so many times, and enjoyed each and every meal.

Pros: Huge portions, Vegan cake, Affordable

Polish dumplings! - Edit

We stayed almost directly above Green Ways, so visited more than once during our visit to Gdansk. Pretty small place, but never struggled to get a seat. Plenty of choice. With some traditional Polish options too i.e dumplings! The salad that is served with most meals is traditionally Polish too and super super tasty.

No problems eating vegan here, staff understood even though they spoke little English. Portions are big, and prices are cheap. Available for take away too!!

Pros: great value, traditional options
