Iranian influences meet Austria. We had the lunch menu and it was delicious and well worth it. Dessert was class act.

My partner and I both took the lunch menu which comes with a side salad, choice of warm meal, and a drink. We could choose from a chili sin carne, curry with vegetables or a potato and pumpkin gratin. We both had the gratin and it was delicious. The side salad is also a generous portion.
Read moreThe woman who (presumably) runs the cafe is very friendly and we felt comfortable and welcomed. There weren't that many seats so it's a bit small but it seemed like a popular local spot near the international student housing.

I was in doubt if I should give a review. I was there for breakfast on a day that the oven was broken down. That had an effect of the choices available. However, even given the situation the food wasn't up to standard.
Read moreI had an orange croissant and a sandwich. The croissant was from the previous day. That was told before I ordered, so no problem there. Unfortunately it also has a bitter taste, which I don't like at all. The sandwich was very basic and was freshly made... only a few hours too early: the cucumber and tomato were already dried out a lot. A defective oven is no reason to not serve old food that can easily be freshly made...
I want to commend people for making vegan food available, but this just didn't work at all for me. I would give one or two stars for my experience, but I stick to three stars because I think one or two is too harsh given the circumstances.

The owner welcomed us very kindly and explained the lunch menu. You can choose between two dishes. The day I visited, I was maybe in some bad luck, considering the previous reviews. It wasn't bad at all, just very simple food; a chili sin carne with beans and potato but without tofu or seitan and other ingredients. Therefor all the ingredients had the same soft texture. I really missed a bite or crunch and something more flavourful complementing the beans and potatoes.
Read moreThat being said, the lady is awesome, the desserts looked good (but was stuffed after beans and potatoes, so didn't try ;-)) and the complimentary drink was very nice. There was love and effort in all the food. That deserves an extra star.

Small place w 3 tables that also so catering. You can choose from todays two meal options that varies every day. We had a aubergine, soymince and mushroom gratain w potatoes and a ch*kn curry v rice. Boty were delicious.

Green Taste is a small but cozy vegan cafe. The owner is a very nice woman. There were three options for lunch, each one sounding delicious. I asked in advance if my husband, who can’t eat garlic and onion, could eat something. So she made an option without those two ingredients, which was very friendly!

Homemade vegan food full of flavour, we ate a kind of omelette made of potatoes with sour cream and salad, was divine! Forgot to take pictures because I was too hungry lol. Also bought Xmas cookies, they are simply wonderful!!!

She offers a daily lunch deal, which today had even an additional salad and free drink for a total of 15,60! The portion was good for the price, but we needed a muffin to be completely filled. This was of course no problem 😂
The food tasted very good and we liked the special additions, such as she vegan omelet.
The only downside was the size of the place. She has three tables in total, so it could be that there is no space to sit during a bussy moment.

Das Essen war super lecker, aber leider wurden qir ein bisschen über den Tisch gezogen, da uns fürs Frühstück ein Flammkuchen angeboten wurde, der sich am Schluss als doppelt so teuer herausstellte als die anderen Frühstücke (es war ein Mittagessen).

Green Taste is a small all-vegan café that offered during our visit at lunchtime a lunchtime special including a main dish (either asparagus lasagna or pea/carrot-gratin) and a soup or a salad. Besides they had small treats like savoury pastries, cakes and muffins. The food was a bit pricey but tasty. The staff was really friendly and thoughtful.

I went here for lunch while attending an event at Innsbruck University. This place is super close to the main university building. Vegan lunch set menu includes salad, main and drink. Fresh food with great taste and good amount. Maybe a bit pricey for students, but very fair priced for the quality you get. The owners were very friendly and welcoming.
