Fresh vegan burgers with GF options - Edit
We were intrigued by a vegan place that had a menu focused on burgers, but wasn’t a fast food joint. Everything on the menu at @greenseedvegan sounded delicious, and it’s all 100% vegan and soy free, plus there are gluten free options. I ordered the Fungus Amongus, which is a buckwheat quinoa patty with mushrooms and the usual burger fixings. It was absolutely delicious and so big, I almost didn’t finish it (😉 almost). Dan had the Latini Panini, which had chipotle garbanzo tempeh with avocado, cilantro, tomato, and chipotle aioli sauce. He loved it, although it was very hard to eat with so much goodness stuffed inside. Munchkin had the Green Seed Burger, also a buckwheat and quinoa patty, but she had it with nothing but mustard and ketchup. She wasn’t a huge fan, but her palate prefers a more traditional Beyond/Impossible flavor over wonderful freshly made patties. We all enjoyed the dill fries very much, and the root brownie was delicious!

Affordable and quality vegan food - Edit
It was my first time at this restaurant and I’d thought I’d check it out because of all the great reviews. Let me say this place lived up to the expectations. Nice little ambiance and atmosphere in the restaurant and the food is absolutely terrific. I recommend any burger and the notyo salad. Apparently they have really good desserts too. Also, very affordable for quality vegan food.

We are in Houston for less than 24 hrs and first order of business after our 6 am flight was to find a vegan place asap. We were thrilled to find this lovely cafe which plays awesome music and has a wonderful vibe. I got the micro green salad with black quinoa and added a hemp seed patty which was very tasty and moist. He got the Big Tex Burger and liked it so much he ordered another one and ate that too. Fresh juices also and sweet treats including raw vegan options. Grateful!! Lovely community😄

a great place to eat! i visit every time im in houston. i ordered the sweet porta panini, kale side salad, green juice and raw blackberry lemon cheesecake. everything was great. the dessert was divine, im drooling just thinking about it. also the service is great and employees are knowledgeable and passionate about food. one employee even wiped the table off after they were clocked out and technically off work, thats major and says a lot! i will definitely keep returning until i try the whole menu. i also love that its plant based and not a lot of processed fake meat.

Very busy at lunch. Give yourself time. Park across the street at the side. Nice workers and amazing choices. Loved my Zen panini and fries and had the yummy brownie. Wow!

We stumbled on this place after traveling in from DC. It was a perfect way to end the day! The food was excellent, the service was quick and the staff were very friendly, helpful and patient. There are plenty of menu options and love the fact it is soy free with gluten and raw options. Will go back in a heartbeat.

Go Green Seed! - Edit
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the food, ambience and emphasis on sustainability. The prices are also very reasonable for the quality of food and portion sizes. We shared a variety of the dishes including the tosh salad, cauliflower bites and fungus amungus "burger". Everything was fresh and full of robust flavor. We will be back. I suggest the public parking lot just across the street as it was easy to access and had a number of available spaces.
