Very Nice Vegan - Edit
Very nice vegan menu with many choices. One of the best vegan restaurants we have visited! Friendly and fast service. We had a Cesar vegan bacon salad, meatless and fishless burgers and desserts - all very tasty and very nicely presented. Good prices for the food. Will come again.

Love it! - Edit
I really enjoyed the stay at fat pumpkin. The food was fresh. We both had a yummy burger, which my omnivore husband found to be amazing, too. Also we checked out some of their juices and smoothies, which had funny and originell names!

Go for the burgers! - Edit
Lovely little cafe with all-vegan menu. They serve a great range of salads, raw food, pastas and burgers. Highly recommend the butternut squash burger - was huge and really delicious! Burger was around €10-€11 with chips and vegan mayo.
Read moreThey have a huge smoothie menu (€5 each) - I recommend the "Fat Bastard", which is banana and cacao. Really tasty and filling!
Went back for coffee and and a powerball another time and enjoyed both.
Prices are a little steep for Riga but the food is fresh and great quality so worth it for a treat.
Pros: 100% Vegan, Amazing burgers, Nice interior
Cons: Bit pricey

tasty, many options - Edit
Conveniently located in Riga's old town, this is probably the place to go to if you want to have tasty vegan food. The menu had many different options, from soups over burgers to cakes and smoothies. I decided to try a sandwich with fried eggplant and tofu, which came with seemingly home-made fries on the side. I liked it a lot, and the portion was quite big and filling as well.
Read moreThe service was good as well, very considerate and making sure I had everything I needed (for instance refilling my glass of tab water I had - a small gesture, but an appreciated one).
The prices were ok considering the value and amount, but probably a bit too pricey for locals - at least it seemed like there were only foreigners/tourists among the customers.
I'd recommend that place and would come there again!
Pros: all vegan, many options, tasty, good service
Cons: none

Excellent - Edit
A bit tricky to find. But once we did, an absolute delight. The menu is large with a wide variety of foods; burgers, sandwiches, salads, soups and raw options.
Read moreWe had deep fried tofu to start, which was honestly the tasted vegan started I've ever had. Then I had a special called "pumpkin plate" or similar. And for desert a cake (which might have been raw vegan?)
Staff were friendly. It's a little expensive for Riga, but well worth the money!!
We're going back later!!

Best vegan restaurant in old town! - Edit
This is a 100% vegan place. Food is delicious and the portions are big. Lovely mood and extremely friendly staff. I really enjoyed Caesar salad with plant-based ham as well as a burger with fries, also a wide range of fancy smoothies. And desert - "snicker" was lovely too.

THE BURGERS - Edit
Fat pumpkin is really easy to find but I do recommend doing a reservation first. I’ve eaten many veg burgers but this one has to be my favorite. I went there twice and I ordered the meatless burger, fish and chips and snicker cake for myself.

All vegan in Old Town center - Edit
Always great to find an all vegan spot in the old city. We stopped in for lunch and enjoyed our sandwiches — the fries, honestly, were the standout for me: a mix between crispy chips (the American sort) and a home fry, sort of unlike any other fry I've had. Fried tofu sandwich was tasty and filling.
Read moreThe fare on offer could use a little more variety — it's basically veggies burgers and sandwiches, with a few other fairly expected options. The prices are also high for Riga. 10-13 EUR for most lunch entrees, when you can get veggie burgers in other parts of the city for half of that price.
But again, always nice to have an all vegan spot in an Old Town city center, and I'm never going to complain too much about that.
Didn't have any desserts, but the options looked outstanding.
Pros: All vegan spot in city center, Large menu
Cons: Expensive compared to other options in town

Very tasty food but a little pricey - Edit
Good location in the Old Town and the staff were very helpful. The food was tasty (I recommend the tofu 'fish' and chips) and a reasonable sized portion. However it was fairly expensive, but I suppose that's to be expected in the centre of the touristy part of Riga. Overall very good though!

Overpriced, terrible service, pet-unfriendly. - Edit
Really weird attitude of the staff. My wife and I went there with our Yorkie and we were advised that we can only sit with the dog outside (due to some sort of law, they said. Which is weird considering we went to other restaurants and bars with the dog - one right over the corner to Fat Pumpkin - and were seated with no problems). After a while some other friends joined us. This was fine until it started to rain. The staff made no effort to help us, instead we had to stand outside under a roof of a different store next to Fat Pumpkin, while our friends were allowed to sit inside. We did eventually come into the restaurant after I explained that it was raining, but we were not offered a table to finish our dinner and instead were made to stand in the hallway. This is considering the bill for just the two of us was already 60 euro, which is huge for a dinner in Latvia. It was also suggested to our friends who were seated that we can have our drinks put into plastic cups so that we could leave. Overpriced, terrible service, do not recommend.
