CLOSED: Green Peas

They boast about being 100% organic, environment friendly, being listed in numerous newspaper articles and rankings, but, to be honest, I wasn't impressed.

First, the food (I had a pancake with spinach) wasn't delicious - the pancake was dry and the spinach badly seasoned.

Second, I had to wait 40 minutes (!) for that simple dish, even though the place was virtually empty at that time. The staff were surprised I was a bit irritated with it and didn't react in a friendly way.

And finally, I don't think it was worth the price. In the same street, right opposite, in Green bar, you can get more tasty food and bigger portions for a price lower by at least a third. And you don't have to worry that food might have been cooked together with meat, in the same pan.

SOOOOO happy to find vegan crepes for the first time ever!! And its kind of ironic, they have VERY few meat dishes, so its like how we feel at non veggie places, having few options. SO the tables are turned here! Clearly marked menu of vegan or not. Good selection Like it a lot. :)

Simply good food here, lots of funny discounts and 100% organic. They also seem to care a lot about costumers' suggestions, which is nice. Location is quite close to the central station, which makes it really accessible.

Opposite the road from Green on Szpitalna, this place has a very similar concept to Green Way, Vega and other Polish vegetarian establishments where the self-service style system operates. There is a very strong focus on vegetarian and vegan meals and really probably no need to serve meat dishes. Pleasant interior, lots of seating and everything clearly marked for the chosen dietary needs. The food is fresh and well prepared, but don't go too late as it's been lying around all day and may be a little tough of over heated.
