Fresh and innovative - Edit

Really nice place with super friendly waitress, however a bit pricey for a lunch imho (140 SEK)
Also not a very big portion (ordered a burger and got like 5 potato cloves with it) so the very tasty food left me slightly unsatisfied, yearning for more.
Very cool looking, cozy place though, and fresh, good food. I wanna go back and try their Sunday brunch but as a lunch place it's a tiny bit too expensive for me to find it worth the money.

Pros: Good, fresh food, Amazing interiour / art, The service!

Cons: $$$$$, Small portions

delicious and friendly - Edit

Delicious lunch and great dessert. The menu was all in swedish, but the staff helpfully read it to me. All vegan. Free wifi. More friendly than the University location. Outdoor seating is a plus.

Pros: all vegan, tasty food, great staff

A great place in a cozy neighborhood. The staff and food was excellent. I couldn't decide on the dessert so I ordered both. Win win!

Great Dinner! Creative and Delicious. - Edit

I visited Green Peas for dinner.

The menu is not large (3 appetizers + 3 mains); however, I felt like trying everything. Each plate had something I'm sure I would've enjoyed.

The dishes are well-thought, with some combinations I'd never tried before. Not only that; but they were also delicious.

I had the roasted beetroot with horseradish sauce; which came also with wild mushrooms, celery root; and...gray peas, which apparently is something very swedish; and very yummy and chewy.
For a dessert (there was just one available), I had some kind of crumble with fennel/raspberry sauce; and parsnip.
(You can take a look at the pictures)

The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was rather relaxed. Very enjoyable.

The only "but" would be the price; since the mains are around 2000 krones (about 22 euros).
However, personally, I found it worth it, because of the quality of the ingredients and the creativity of the dishes.

Finally, I was told by the staff that during the lunchtime they offer a more affordable menu.
However, while I think it must also be yummy; I assume it's probably not as good as the dinner menu. :)

All-in-all, I highly recommend this place for dinner if you are in Stockholm (to get there, take the T10 or T11 to Fridhemsplan, and the place is just a 5min. walk from the station).

Oh, I forgot to add, it seems they take cash now (I did paid by cash, but I wonder if it's only for dinner?).

Pros: creative food, quality ingredients, friendly staff

Pros: No meat substitutes but still rich of protein, Good beer and wine suggestions to complement the f

Boring and expensive, blev besviken tyvärr - Edit

As a vegan from Stockholm I am always excited to find a new veggie place to eat at. The quinoa burger was sold out so we went with something else. Dry patties, a few peas and mashed patatoes with no taste. My boyfriend had rice with a little bit of lentil stew. He had to use a lot of hot sauce to give it some taste.
We bought one soda can and were charged for two, ok accidents can happen. We won't go back. There are places in Stockholm that are MUCH better.

Pros: For starters you can have hummus, hard bread and s

Cons: Expensive, Bland and boring

Delicious brunch! - Edit

At first Green Peas was only open for lunch on weekdays so I was very pleased when they started with weekend brunches! For 200 SEK I got 2 spring rolls, burger with pulled jackfruit, scrambled tofu, avocado sallad, crispbread with seeds, home made elder squash PLUS a mini brownie and a pannacotta with rhubarb! It was beautifully presented and everything tasted fresh and delicious. I thought it was good value but as I am not a big eater, one lunch dish (for example just the burger) would have probably been enough.

This branch of Green Peas is located in a very underrated area of Stockholm called Kungsholmen. It's a 25 minute walk along the water from The City Hall. There is a big park and beach nearby which is popular in the summer. Kungsholmen is slowly becoming more veg-friendly with several new restaurants and specialized shops popping up.

Pros: Fresh and delicious tasting food, Clean, minimalistic interior, Nicely situated, many tables

Cons: Short opening hours, Could use textiles to soften acoustics , Last min info on changes to opening hrs

Perfect lunch at Kungsholmen - Edit

Cauliflower patties with roasted veggies are just perfect. Three dishes to choose from plus a small sallad and fresh bread. Peaceful and quiet location. Tiny outside seating.
Lovely lunch place!
