NOT 100% VEG ANYMORE! - Edit
Still some vegan options, some drinks, a hummus sandwich and 2 flapjacks, but mostly meat/cheese. Ambiance of the café is nice and personnel is friendly.

Limited choices - Edit
Sadly there were very few options when we visited today. Run out of bread, no vegan cheese, etc. Choice was limited to cake and soup. Perhaps there has been a change of ownership, as there seemed to be no sign of the choice highlighted in other reviews?

Lovely cafe, but might be worth calling ahead to book a table. It's small and very popular.

Flapjack lovers will be spoilt for choice - Edit
We called during lockdown 2, so only take-away was available. The coffee was good and happily tailored to our requirements. There were plenty of cakes on offer, all of which were vegan and baked by the owner. There were about 4 varieties of flapjack alone, plus beautifully decorated cup cakes, and other almondy bakes. Choosing just one cake each was difficult. We had orange and walnut flapjack and a mincemeat frangipane slice. Both were good sized portions and tasty. The price was typical for coffee and cake in Devon.

Delicious and nutritious food beautifully presented. I recommend the Green Man Salad - and I'm not usually a great fan of salad !

Perfect stop after a day on the moors - Edit
This cafe is so cute! I had some vegan hot chocolate and a panini after hiking on a chilly day. It’s exactly what I needed.
