Sorry but it was awful :( - Edit
First visit my partner had a burrito which he said was really good, but I had nachos which were strange. There was sooo much sauce underneath that it gave it a very wet and soupy consistency. It had shreds of plain tofu on top, not sure if that was supposed to be “cheese”? And the avocado wasn’t nice chunky guac, it was a runny green puree.
Read moreWe also got an empanada to takeaway - of the 5 or so varieties at the counter only one was vegan, and it was the worst one I’ve had. The tofu filling was tasteless and there was hardly any of it, most of the empanada was dry pastry like cardboard.
Another night we gave them another try, we actually wanted to go to Menta Restobar but they were closed for a public holiday so we ended up here again, as it was straight across from our accommodation. This time we had a Clásica Burger and Ranchera Burger. The sides of potatoes were cold and not crispy, and the burger patties were bland mush and we struggled to finish.
Pros: restaurant is spacious and nice
Cons: unfortunately didn’t enjoy most of the food, focus on vegetarian options rather than vegan

Vegan options - Edit
Vegetarian daily menu including soup, salad, drink and one of 2 main course options, including a vegan one. Check their instagram to see what they serve today. Nice place. Also a little shop with some veggie/vegan products including tofu, coconut yoghurt and cookies.

Great food and fair prices! - Edit
We had been travelling for almost 24 hours, so we were starving. The staff was extremely helpful, quick and friendly. We got our meals after a few minutes and they were delicious. We’ll definitely come back tomorrow. They also offer lots of different organic groceries like cereal, granola bars or cacao butter.

I had the vegan burrito with tofu instead of cheese and it was dreamy! Only 30b, so filling and super fast. I even got a vegan Oreo cheesecake to take away. One happy vegan in Santa Cruz.

Now with three locations it’s easy to find one closest to where I am. They have two options, two set menu for the day, if not vegan, with a vegan option unless they have run out. They also have menu you can order from. During lunch they have a nice salad bar that comes with the set menu.
