The best - Edit
I've eaten at the Green Library a few times and have tried all the vegan options. Everything is super delicious, you can't go wrong going there.

Big selection of vegan desserts - Edit
The vegan dessert selection was really big. All of them tasted amazing. The ones we tried are Saher cake, Twix, Ferrero bonbons.

Hair in cake and rude customer service - Edit
Edit: Ordered their cake for an important day (birthday), despite it being available on the app, they phoned to say it is not, and to choose something else. Okay, fine. But when it did come, the cake had a very long dark HAIR in it and wrapped around it. Gross and poor hygiene. I phoned them and they didn’t even say sorry. Appalling manners. The sandwich (20.8 levs nearly 4 lev delivery fee) was also cold and tough and not as nice as I remembered. Really disappointing.
Read moreWhen it’s the only vegan place with cake, and you’re excited to eat like a normal person, you open it up, only to find a dirty hair in it. Then you don’t even have other options. If that has hair in it how can you even trust the other food you ordered from them? So they’ve essentially cost someone 48.54 levs.
———
Ignore the previous photos, so disappointed as I’ve had nice cakes though expensive from them before, so extra frustrating that they made a mistake but then were rude about it.

Nice and really tasty - Edit
First we didn't find it because the menu said "the book" instead of library but we recognized the green house. All the cakes are vegan and delicious.

Must-visit when in Plovdiv - Edit
Very cozy and friendly place. They have many vegan options and when we went there all cakes were vegan. We had breakfast with a sacher-like cake, a carrot cheesecake and oat-milk cappuccino. They were all so delicious that we came back in the afternoon to have a tea and another piece of cake!

Hidden gem! - Edit
This place is so underrated. It is more than just a 'raw cafe'. It was my favourite place I ate during my whole trip to Bulgaria. They have a full breakfast, lunch and dinner menu, as well as an entire vegan bakery section. The best smoothie bowl I ever had, and the best vegan desserts I had in Bulgaria. I kept going back, and the staff were so friendly and helpful, such a delight to talk to. This should be your first stop as a vegan in Plovdiv.

Cozy café in the center - Edit
Very cute vegan cafe in the old town of Plovdiv. Almost everything is vegan but we had to specify the milk for the coffee as they also use cow milk.

Quiet Cafe - Edit
This is a relaxing place to get a coffee or fresh fruit juice. Relaxed and friendly staff, you can stay for a long time. There are many desserts and cakes which are dairy-free but some contain honey. There were about 5 vegan (honey-free) options when I visited. Super tasty.

Awesome place - Edit
One of my favourite places to eat at. Conveniently located in the city centre. Big variety of choices (smoothies especially).
Read moreThe staff is vey friendly. As long as you don’t order take-away and ask for no straw, it comes with no plastic utensils/cups.
What I don’t like about the place is that they use honey in most of their sweets (I don’t think they know it’s not vegan). It’s also a bit expensive but considering they use organic ingredients, it’s normal.
Pros: Really tasty, Healthy, Vegan-friendly
Cons: Honey, A bit pricey
